hahahha Wedgie, funny how I have had to put so many latest Fords off the road for breach of Australian Road rules compared to Commodores, I happened to be at the lineup for signatures, think Mrs Wedgie may have it slightly wrong but not by a lot, there were an equal amount of vegies in both lines

No offence mate but I trust Mrs Wedgie's observation skills a little bit more than yours.
Mind you I do agree that anyone that lines up to get motor car driver's autograph would probably be a vegie no matter which side they follow.
Good luck to you and the Elizabeth cars tomorrow though. Luckily they have a majority of the field so unless they're completely crap cars they should fill most of the podium just like today.

Im tempted to go to tomorrow with the lure of free booze and food but will probably stay home as the A-League GF is on and I can flick between channels or play World of Warcraft which has me sucked in. Its a shame Santana will be there, should have just had Doc Neeson's Angels and I'd be a definate.

Wegs, it's not that bad actually (time wise) it just means the buses are busier and people are asking more questions of the drivers. It does slow things down slightly, and I think it's because it's not an event I'm keen to attend that annoys me, however I keep hearing on the radio to make sure you take into account the "extra hour" to get to work. I got home in 50 mins on Friday night (opening of the Fringe included (Rundle St closed, East Tce being closed at 7pm)). I left at 5.10, got to Paradise Bus Station at 5.50 and home at Modbury North (15km from the city) at 6pm. That included traffic congestion on Grenfell St, Nth Tce, however once we got onto Hackney Rd, it was pretty clear running.

I think the only problem you'd have is if you drove into town during Clipsal. I don't, and don't really have any major problems with it knowing it's good for the state's economy.

Was a great race today from start to finish, IMHO.

Courtney let himself down, Lowndes was ahead and he should have given up the spot.

Twenty-three-year-old Matt Kingsley remained in a stable condition in intensive care at Royal Adelaide while Colin Corkery, 23, and Craig Dontas, 28, were released after being thoroughly examined.

Fortunately he has since regained consciousness, is off the respirator and has no broken bones. His MRI was clear and he has no damage to his organs. After 7 hours Matt first spoke with his family in a stressed state, unable to remember what had occurred and anxious at his condition, but with family reassurance he is comfortable and doing well

Saw Dontas' car go past me on the back of a truck I don't think he will be participating in any more rounds anytime soon. Might as well go to the nearest Ford dealer tomorrow morning and order a new ute, or by looking at the V8 Utes website give Jack Elsegood a call... he has one for sale.

Also Adelaide driver Charlie "Handlebars" Kovacs has a hefty repair bill on his hands.

reports i hear on ashely cooper are his seat/mounts broke and the belts then did all the damage to his organs and neck. first time in 10 years ive heard the entire circuit hushed was when the chaplain said a prayer for ashley and his family, very touching.
as far as the ute stack goes serious driver error or inflate egos getting in the way in my opinion. sitting in the chicane stand i told the blokes sitting either side of me we are in for a stack as soon as i saw them alongside each other entering the chicane
