Aust innings over 7/184, that is one of the worst performances I have seen from an australian batting side in a long long time, just think the Lankans missed 6 easy chances as well

Couple of points. Firstly i find lower scoring games quite entertaining. Battle between bat and ball where the batsmen have to do a lot of hard work. Clarke and Hussey were superb today in tough conditions. Sri Lanka are 2/14 in reply (almost 3 down when Symonds couldn't hang onto a very very tough chance). Game well and truly on and could go down to the wire.

Secondly if your lawn is dying you aren't looking after it right. Sure we can't water much but there are ways to help the lawn survive through the summer with limited watering.

Had to be 4/103 to win the game at the same point of the match.
24 run win + a bonus point.

This match should have been abandoned.

4/77 chasing 184
123 balls
107 runs
Dilshan 9*
Silva 16*

Sides who have interupted innings are at too big a disadvantage
After 30 overs AU were about 4/90 as well, but had a chance to recover, SL didnt
And SL are meant to be 4/103

Once again the result was inconclusive, and a team wins on speculation

Sri Lanka should have batted first, then maybe they would have won.

no matter how a low a total the side batting first scores, the second batting side still has to score more...

I don't know how we got the bonus point.
SL lost early wickets, which is why they lost. D/L is all about wickets and overs and things like that, the par runs that is on the scoreboard (for one day matches) is for the tie only and is connected to the D/L system. That's the best I can explain it. Any one else care to try.
