Nah I reckon they might give it another go. With Edmonds back if his fitness doesn't hold up for A's he'll be up forward and we'll have a good team of mates together out there, which is a good ingredient in the magoos.

Hoping Adie will also start training and only want to play B's, he's an unknown at this stage and could still be a handy A grader.

Roger that with mates playing together. Last year was one of my most enjoyable at the club, had most of my good mates on the track at the same time, first time it has really come together and was bloody good fun out on the ground and for after game beers.

Sam was Cowell's best in a losing B grade grand final, but was in B grade because of his injury riddled 2007 season.
Ben look's brilliant on the training track but basically couldn't get a kick in a buffalo stampede.
Fairly harsh comment there on a young guy SV. Did he complain about the surface at Cowell Oval at some stage?
We are happy to have both the boys playing for us this year...they are both quality young men who are looking forward to enjoying their football.

Looks like clubs will have to umpire all their own reserve grade games this season due to lack of support for us.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

not every time. I think it was about a half ratio.

We need retired footballers to umpire. why not keep fit and put something back into the game?

Richard Jones would make an exceptional umpire, he's been doing it for years while playing!!

Couple of chirpy players there......
Im sure one day wcp will sit back over a lager and think about all the whineing he did to the umps...... this new arm chopping rule in... and he still cant get a free   I mean.. give a bloke a break... most harshly treated player in the comp...without a doubt....
The only way wcp has ever got a free was from an FAD up the field or a defender kicking it out on the full (will never forget that day at Poole last year when wcp could see the pill floating aout on the full and made a bee line to get closest to where it went out) ..... he did however go on to kick the goal and let everyone know about it!!!!!

There goes my anonymity. Ben was very frustrating as a team mate, has all the skills but football instinct does not come naturally to him. If he plays A grade for Waybacks you will have a very long injury list.

thats a harsh call ... you should never underestimate what a change off club and leauge can do for a footballer... i know!

HS doesn't count though if you change clubs and go to a sub standard competition to get a game of A grade.

After chatting to the old man souths coach has resigned and a replacement is in the wings. i have the mail on who the new coach will be but will keep you in suspense, could be a previous junior coach at the club.

WHOOPTY DO heater. Great Flinders have a good record at rep level but the overall competition lacks something compared to the powerful PL competition.

Hate to agree with CU, but he is right.

Plenty of average Port Lincoln B Graders have gone to the Great Flinders league and played A Grade
