i drove passed salisbury north oval last night and saw that blokes were training. stopped to have a look and they only had about 25 at training. pretty poor for this time of year with trials in the next few weeks surely.

with the drills they did they didn't look too good skill wise either! looked very fit though so that would be a massive bonus. no ben halliday either??? is he playing on this year??

jamie thomas was even having a kick to make up numbers i think.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

Seaton had 14 out monday night. Will struggle this year, approximately 15 players from their league side last year has left the club for various reasons. Makes it hard when you get promoted to Div 1, infact it would've made it hard if they got relegated to Div 3!

dropped in and watched henley last night. solid numbers would have had close to 50 training in the main squad with the c and d grade training on the athletics track with about 20 players. Looks to be a solid year for the sharks

I honestly believe they should of stayed in Div2 as their not ready for the step up into A1 & we will see that this year.
Alot of the players realise this & have jumped ship.
Financially their fine, they have to get their off field football department cleaned up fast & all head in the same direction or they may well venture down to Div3 in a couple of years.

Really. Despite our arguments NM I thought Seaton had a core group of players that a div 1 side could be built around. Coard, Thomas and Gower are guns. Have they left?

Is Slimmo playing for you guys again, how did he go last year? I know him though college ended up standing him for a bit in our last match last year.

Enjoyed seeing him play Bs in the first match, lining someone up then somehow getting knocked out. That was my highlight for that day, all down hill from there.
