tab odds

nz $2.10

eng $1.68

i'm tipping the kiwi's with vettori getting a bagful of wickets (presuming he's playing)

Gee you start a lot of threads.

Could this not be in the New Zealand Vs England series thread?

I am tipping England again with Ian Bell to score a century or very close to it.

yes it would have been, i just got home from work & saw the last ball vettori faced & they needed 2 to win & they could only scranble a single as the ball hit his pad/body & just roll square of the wicket

I saw a large part of the match and even though England made 340, it seemed gettable.
Collingwood was outstanding (6x6, 0x4!).

James Anderson was terrible (as he usually is) in his first spell, but bowled a lot better towards the end.
Vetori should have been given run-out with about 3 overs left, but the 3rd umpire didn't spot his bat in the air as the bails were removed (even the pro-kiwi commentator was stunned it wasn't out). He then hit a crucial 4 off the next ball.

Mustard (English keeper) then missed an easy take for another run-out opportunity a few balls later.
They finally got a run-out when Howe (made 139) was dismissed via direct hit.

Collingwood gambled on some young bloke (Wright) bowling the 50th (his only over of the match) and he did a very good job of it really, with England salvaging the tie.
