I challenge Jervois to join the SAAFL! Albeit you will have to start in Div 7, still its an indication.

Give you the hot tip im not driving to f*****g jervois when they come to div 5,It would be safer than driving out to some of the 3rd world clubs we play at though

Keep asking the question Mex, but i'm not sure why i would have a different answer..let me spell it out to you...Jervois would make the top 8 in SFL no problems without adding to their squad from last year.

I'm very impressed with your meticulous analysis of my posts...lessons learnt from leg rope?

Good attempt at changing the conversation Fat Cat because it was obvious you were spouting crap. Maybe if you tell us all how good a player you are, FM will feel more inclined to do the same.

Heard a recent whisper that Kyle Jenner from Port may be signing with Imps..would be very handy obviously if true, but gets injured very often so they'd want to get good value out of him given he'd be a 4 pointer.

Not like that at all Dutchman, your postings stand out purely because you seem to have a greater understanding of more than one league, most blokes on here will comment on other league's with some reservation as they are not quite up with what is going on, you however seem to be all over this forum and the SFL, hence my questioning re where Jervois would fininsh, quite a basic line of questioning i would have thought, you have answered and i wait your latest mail on new signings...

Fair enough Mex, the announcements will come in time.

Looking through the names on this forum alone, not sure about your remark about most blokes commenting on other leagues with some reservation...

I haven't read the report yet - what did Dalwood say in the article - did he basically say they'll struggle to win a game (given the amount of money spent by other clubs)..?

I suppose the theme of the article was that the Bears were just going to rely on their locals/young players and were building for the future.

dalwood just basically spoke about their previous gun players, who all have key roles at the club now, and said how good it would be for meningie if they were all still playing now. The 3 players to watch were all at the bears last year im pretty sure.
its always gonna be tough to get recruits that extra distance

the fact that they have got several past players, who have been successful with the club, in leadership roles is a great thing for meningie though. as you could guarantee that they will do all they can possibly do to get the club back up the table

Id say

Any of these three could be in any order

Jervois
Ramblers
Imperials

Mypo have gained a few and are looking better than last year. beat the premier by 10 goal on there home deck
Mannum fast team and another possible team to look out for will be another tussle between them and mypo to make finals
Tailem Could be a team too lookout for with there recruits? Anyon got news on them
Meningee Have possibly lost their best player

Yeah it will probably be similar to last year, the top 3 positions more than likely held by same clubs. Imps appear to have picked up some quality players, but will they have the key forwards to take them to a flag? Jervois have great depth so will obviously be there, likewise Ramblers, although not much being discussed about the Roosters. Mypo and Mannum will be fighting for a top 3 berth, and Tailem, with some recruits, some quality, some unknown, will be looking at a top 5 position. Meningie a bit unknown as well, will be wanting to recruit a few soon so they can compete.

If i was going to GUESS i'd say:

Imps
Jervois
Ramblers
Mypo
Mannum
TB
Meningie.
