Two local blokes went down there in '06 for work, one came back last year to play with some mates again but is likely to return as he works / lives in kingston.

Ah ok, i presume you're referring to Jamie Austin as the player who left in 06 and stayed.

Dutchman, i see you say the Blud's are being very selective as to whom they will recruit next... Majority of worthy players are signed, sealed and delivered as i wouldn't imagine they would be offering peanuts... Perhaps all is not as it seems down at the Bluds...??

Where is Joel Matchoss from topcat? And did they mention whether Morris is back at Ramblers again this year?

I think its too early to write Jervois off. They've still got a heap of good players (they'd have to lose 6 or 7 and not replace them to be any chance of slipping).

So who have Jervois lost Topcat??? Baxter and Hill, no one else have confirmed that they are not playing. They have picked up a ruckman to replace Baxter and have the flexibility to cover Hill even if they don't recruit anyone else. But even though it's not posted on here it doesn't mean Slippery Sammy Sosa Mahoney isn't out recruiting players!

Well since every second post is about Jervois you would assume any gains might have come up once or twice...

Sammy has things going along smoothly at present.
Playing his cards very close to his chest is a smart thing.
As we can see theirs alot of interest in the recruiting by Mahoney & whats going on down blood land.
I'd say theirs alot "hoping" Jervois lose more than they pick up & take a slide.
Maybe inside 2weeks a couple of named recruits may get leaked intensionally to you all.
I would love to leak a certain player right now, but whats a couple of weeks??

I wouldn't have thought they'd need to recruit too many new players, maybe a key forward, especially if Woodhouse doesn't play there this year.
