I hear different things from different people, A few are on board but we're not exactly pushing our points limit at this stage is my understanding. Its hard to tell whats happening behind the scenes sometimes and I havent been involved with the recruiting this year.

Reading the Standard, noticed that Mick O'Hara (from Meningie) has been appointed President. One of his focuses is going to be to get an 8th club. Also mentioned, that they're trying to get an RMFL website set up.

Thats excellent! With regard to an 8th club and website etc.
I know of a club that has been toying with the idea of turning up in the RMFL, the Raukkan Swans! Only problem is that a fair % of the Indigenous players currently in the RMFL would want to play for the new side. I say only a fair % due to the fact that even the new club would only have so much money.
Stay tuned, Id love to hear more.

Rumour is Karoonda are going to struggle to put 2 teams on the park this year. I don't think that the RMFL would like a club that's struggling for numbers to join the league.

Would have more chance of BDT rejoining the competition if Karoonda fold. What I hear is that BDT would not want to play in a 5 team comp, if that is what happens to the Mallee League. What ever the case I'm sure their will be a few clubs hanging around hunting some of the Karoonda players.

Apparently Karoonda had a crisis meeting last night, it will be interesting to hear what the outcome is.

As for Jervois, i cant see them slipping too much. They're got great depth, so even if they lose Hill, Woodhouse and Baxter they'll no doubt be top 2 material.

FM, theres been talk of an aboriginal side joining the league for about 15 years now, will be interesting to see if it happens, i've got my doubts.

Re Jackson from Ramblers, i've heard hes now staying with the Chooks and not playing amateurs.

Imps will still be around the mark though because they've got good young players coming through. Their forward line may not be as good as last few years either, they'll definitely miss Seyers, and maybe Shiell. They've picked up a guy called Josh Charles whos on their coaching panel, so presumably he'd be handy. Also apparently they may have picked up Girdham from the YP league who apparently is handy.

Whos the other ex BLG player they've lost topcat?

On the Kowree Naracoorte thread some discussion that Kingston is trying to recruit one of Meningie's better players, Bears no doubt will be desperate to hang onto their better local players.
