Well to make a fairly hefty statement you need to have something to back it up. Front runner may not be the right term, but there is something definitely above the ears when they know they don't have a full team.
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

Was good numbers last nite..the trick will be to see how many come up next tuesday.

TRR recovered from his little op (snip) earlier in the week and marshalled the troops with great effect. Was a funny moment when he got down to show the boys how to do a perfect crunch...you could hear the scream over at the monument.....

well next thurs we'll join in, after the sit ups and push ups are over!! bring the note pad next week.

Good luck with the cricket today, I've decided to sit out this week (not out again!), a combination of an injury at training , and winning the beer raffle last night :partyman: :partyman: :vom: :vom: :partyman: :partyman:.

I agree with panther about Waybacks they struggle in the midst of winter when the weather is bad. They generaly dont win a game in July.
souths and tasmans will be the spoon contenders they both only have a couple of good players and lack depth. (depth as in class RR)

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

How was the cricket this weekend?
We lost the A grade in the penultimate over, in a decent team display,
while the B grade lost, with Timmy Forrest taking 5 wickets...
if the boys had held a few catches it could've been a little different...

The TCC has talent coming through it's junior ranks, with James Lakin (who's 15 i think), Scott Forrest, and Ben Finlayson playing really well, with Lakin and Forrest making our senior sides off the back of great performances...
Not a shot at the TFC tho, I just don't know much about their juniors.

$5 BP.... was a great divie in my all-up btb..... and for 999m I had the last leg of it   KR......
Heard a whisper that Staceys maiden firstup horse beat Eagles Glory on the track so had $25 EW on it at $21 with Smally and he brought it inot $4.....  WAP.....
got a nice race picked out over the carnival btb for PB?
Noms out for Sunday...... Lincoln Cup leadup race doesnt look to have much qaulity..... In Error, Sea Accountant and Taloora Hula might measure up against the other old hacks....
What weight will Boy John get?... being rated 18 points above anything else in the race????

Once again, my standard response to your verbal diarrhoea: :finga: :finga:
I wouldn't captain a cricket side for anything. Too much hard work.

Bystander, if you want me playing this week, we must be playing you?
I've been 'guaranteed' a berth in the B's (which I had to plead for), but that doesn't mean much.
