nice to get an easy win last night, hope things are turning...

OK big night tonight like 3 games but only one is on the board at the moment, will add the others later if lines are suitable....tonight Melbourne on a 2 days break from NZ take on the Dragons off a 3 days break...both these teams have had a strong history of high scoring games coming off 2-3 day breaks, in fact I think this is a very strong trend in the NBL, short breaks equals weaker defence IMO and teams seem to shoot a bit more coming off a short break....Dragons are conceeding an average of 107 ppg and only twice this season have held a team to under 95 points, so safe to presume Melbourne should be able to put up at least 105 tonight, considering they are averaging 108 points in their last 12 games...Dragons havent been very hot lately on the offence but their win on Wed night will have given them a good boost of confidence and hope this translates to their shooting...Melbournes recent problems has been in its defence, conceeding over 100 points in 11 of its last 17 games, this was after not conceeding over 100 in its first 9 games! Most teams they have played against recently have exceeded their ave ppg....so I reckon Dragons can get at least 90 odd points tonight and push this one into the 200's...I really expected this line to be arounf 205-206

Edit - as I speak the lines come out for the other games tonight....Townsville off a 9 day break host Brisbane who have will play their 4th road game in 11 days having been to Melb, Adelaide, Wollongong and now the long trek to Townsville, not to mention coming off a B2B...Townsville are 10-1 at home in their last 11 and ave 106 ppg this season at home, almost 10 more points per game than when they are on the road, giving only 2 points start here they should get the job done....this one should go over as well

Tonights game Cairns Vs NZ

NZ beat cairns by 20 last year, and lost by no more than 6pts to Cairns in their other two match ups. Both teams finished 16-14 for the year, so i think the +7.5 for NZ is good value.
