Haha, Harty was on fire last night, been banned from site too :)
Harty fairly involved now, has been helping with sponsorship, training guernseys etc, pretty much taken on role as football operations. Harty wil be at Sharks this year.
He's pretty much a local nowadays.

Yes Aldinga has had a retention rate problem, but this year looks better again, last 2 wednesdays we've had 35+ - train not including the 18's as they train tuesday and thursday. We have a new committee this year and have 6 or so players on that committee (myself included) so hopefully will be able to look at things from a players perspective.
Majority of players from last year have signed on again, considering where the club is coming from things are heading in the right direction.

I think you will find the club is more family orientated these days.
The guys we have picked up are mainly mates of guys from 07, so they are aware of how things are and already have mates at the club which makes it a bit easier to fit in.

By the way X-Sharky's a father for the second time to a baby girl (born today) congratulations!
Another one to add to the ever increasing nursery.

When you think about it Mypona Willunga Mclaren and especially Aldinga have a fast growing population base so hopefully some good years to come there on the coast!

good to see those players on the comitee to always good to get a club up and running with players on the comittee.

Yes its been a long time since those old days when you boys were running around shark park thats for sure. I've seen you Hardly Super and BJ come a long way which is well deserved. I reckon there would only be one person running around out there from those days still

Its alot easier to say about returning to play its been a long road to travel staying at one club. I for one am very proud to have stuck to the good, the bad, the worse (ha) and hopefully the improving. I again look forward to being a part of an exciting year and its good to hear some good things come from you lads you're always welcome back you know that ha ha. You'd have to work for that rotation in the middle though BJ the guts looks good this year.

Seen good numbers at willunga pre-season which is a given I definately prefer our numbers now days to the old 12 on the track era.

Congrats X-Sharkey...again good work.

Where is the great Russell Hart these days. Been missing his posts as he is a very funny man, the great man he is
Been a bit boring without Fuddley these days. Hope his ban from this site can eventually be lifted, but I guess you
just dont know what he is going to write so might be best to have him misisng for a while. Bad man sometimes
when he gets that keyboard in his hot little hands.

Gave himself a big chance to win the Association Medal the other week, when I spoke to him, so lets hope he
is able to back up his beliefs. Will be there to see the great man play a few games this year and cant wait to
see him waddle out of the goal square

I think you'll find Harty will say yes he has progressed from Henley. He is having major input into the rebuilding of a promising club and helping curve a future for a lot of younger players. His influence around the place is very respected and has a very smart football mind. If clubs are happy to lose players and people like this we will more than gladly accommodate them and do what we can to keep them involved in our club.

And also he has found a local girl who also helps out around the place whom he seems very happy with. I for one hope to see him around for a long time to come yet Hafey.
