As a coach, one of cabbage's best attributes is his stance on training. He expects the guys to all make training and he rewards the guys who put in the work. He will probobly put a few noses out of joint early but will end up with good numbers on the track as i've heard he has already. (30 plus at the snake pit would seem pretty f****ing good for Houghton!)

And let's not forget his big recruit of the year that he pinched from Hope Valley. Well, technically he pinched him from Kersbrook...

That should be about the time when the fog is streaming across the ground and water from the creek (assuming we actually get a bit of rain) should also be heading in that direction. lol nice and cold up there in winter.

if houghton went into the hills league they would be the whipping boys. to many of there players are unfit, the guns teams would swolen them up and they have no juniors, so i dont know where they would get there influx of new youth into there system, should eb a permanent team in div 7

heccies trials against angaston and birdwood cancelled. now will be playing kersbrook and kenilworth. should both be good hitouts for the hounds.

I can't really say without ever seeing Luke play (apart from juniors). He's a bit bigger than Jimmy and was vice captain out at Smithfield, but the sibling rivalry will see Jimmy lift another gear no doubt so he's not out done by his big brother!

S Demon21, u guys are very lucky to have luke to playing for you this season and he will add a lot to u's. We are all sad to see him go but i respect his decision to make the trip up the hill to play with his little bro.

From what I've seen of him so far I'd have to agree with you that we are very lucky to have him playing for us. Looking forward to seeing jimmy and luke hopefully having a good year. Could be 2 sets of brothers running around in the A grade this year...

The Hann's and Carrol's!

I thought I'd transfer this over to the div 6 thread before the div 5 boys tell us to get nicked!!
