What's the word on Tailem Bend, any talk how they will shape up this year with the new recruits they have onboard?

Hearing whispers that the Vanilla Slice man (Denty) has shed the kg's and could well kick 100 this year?

old vanilla slice seemed way too preoccupied with abusing the umpires and trying to dot the opposition last year than getting a kick. so it probably doesnt matter how many kgs hes dropped in 08, its a far stretch he would get anywhere near 100 goals...

TC, Mick prob needs a couple of operations before he takes to the field but I don't think he'll go to Tailem.

Imps looked to have done extremely well with their recruiting. They would have to be early flag favourites.

Ur not gettin away with that easy WoW!

Jervois have won the last 4 and have lost Hill but gained a ruckman.

I would say Jervois are still flag favourites!!!

Obviously WoW is a bit nervous about the coming season, trying to shift favouritism in January!!

I haven't heard re this, but i think Tailem would have used up all their points already so its probably unlikely.

Are you basing that just on whats written here WoW or you have further knowledge on who they've recruited? I think they'll definitely be top 2 again, but the loss of Sayers will hurt them, Wait too if he doesn't return. Shiell also in doubt as well.

They've only got 10 points to play with so thats realistically only 3 class players unless they can somehow recruit some zero pointers.

I saw something written in the Southern forum a few weeks ago that Ben Woodhouse was looking at retiring or possibly going to a club in the SFL, so if he goes that will be a blow for them as well.

But yeah Jervois will have to start favourites again, more than likely another Imps/Jervois GF

After playing in two losing grand finals in a row, i have to admit, it does play a massive part mentally.
Losing sucks.
Surely these guys are sick of it by now.

is that how the imps players and supporters think?
surely they start every game thinking they are gonna win!
if they dont they might as well fold now!
