I urge all cricket fans to stand up to the arrogance of the BCCI, & their bully-boy tactics, in spite of the fact their players are guilty of on-field indiscretions.

Boycott the 1 Day International at Adelaide Oval.

Pls pass on the sentiments to as many people as you can via e-mail, or reject the possibilty of attending.

Stand up for Australian & International Cricket by making a stance against this impudinet behaviour presented by the BCCI.

Personally boycott the India - Sri Lanka game.
Go to the Australia - India game. Stand and applaud when the Australians bat.
Turn your back to the ground when the Indians bat or take a wicket...

Boycotting the one-day games is a completely stupid idea.
It just means that less money goes to the SACA and Cricket Australia.

The BCCI don't care less because it won't make any difference to the number of Indians watching it on TV - so they will just become relatively more powerful, and the opposite of what you plan to achieve will happen.

Punky I know a few people who work there that need the money. If there's not enough people in the Smith Bar, they close it and send the workers home. This would happen in all of the bars and food outlets.

I understand your emotion but it's not our argument. I for one will be going to both with the emphasis on the India V Sri Lanka game as the away sides always seems to be more enjoyable. As you can see, not all of my illusions have been shattered yet.

This is what I thought when I read this thread but Ecky has posted it. Perhaps if Harbajhan likes animals so much the crowd could chant out 'swine swine swine'. I don't think his culture has a high opinion of Pork (Might be wrong on that one mind you) so perhaps if you are considering fighting fire with fire than the same ammunition could be used.

I will be heading to the Australia v India ODI regardless. I think that the more pro-Aussie crowd at the game, the better! It will also be the last chance I get to watch Adam Gilchrist play live (provided he plays).

What has really p*ssed me off is that Shaun Tait won't be playing in the ODI Series. I was looking forward to watching him crown Harby, then knocking his off peg back 5 metres!
Tait performs like a completely different bowler when he bowls in ODI's compared to Test cricket.

I find it funny that we call India and their players arrogant and ask for a ban, when we've been pushing the boundaries for years.

Personally, I don't support the Australians. I hope they do well, but I'm tired of every team that comes here being the bad guys. I see it as the common denominator being Australia unfortunately.

I don't boycott the cricket, I go and attempt to watch a game of cricket. I agree with the recent press from Arjuna Ranatunga to ban all sledging, that way there can be no argument either way. Just get rid of it, fullstop.

You will never get rid of sledging, like you will never get rid of beer, cigarettes, cancer, the world, just won't happen, funny the last couple of series I can't recall the sides visiting here having a problem apart from losing, this is where it is all coming from, sides just aren't good enough to beat the aussies at the minute but it is changing, all this crap has come about by the Indians thinking if they fought the ban it would help them at least square the series, it didn't work, it did work for one test which is what the Indians wanted, the Aussies went off the boil and took the pressure off and the Indians made hay whilst the sun shone, I can't wait for the one dayers, lots of anger and hate out there, just a pity Taity wont be out there knocking their heads off at 155km/h
