JB will go very close to winning it. but i dont think it will be that easy. On ballers or big goal kickers are usually the players the umps give the votes too.

Scotty Baxter is proof that the umps dont throw to many votes towards the ruckman.

On the YPFL thread it says that Imps have recruited Daniel Girdham from Kadina. Looking at countryfooty.com from last year he kicked a few bags and finished with 50 for the season, looks like he'll be a handy replacement for Sayers (and possibly Shiell if he leaves) in the forward line, if this particular rumour is true.

We trained in Adelaide with a few lads from Kadina, including Girdy, through out last season. For what it's worth he looked pretty handy on the the training track. I'm pretty sure he's played at least a couple of seasons with Central Districts in the ressies.

Yeah, he aint that tall and doesn't play as a key forward, quick at ground level with good skills.

Ah ok i presumed he was kpp because he kicked a few bags last year. Sounds like he'd be handy nonethless.

Would he be any relation to Roger Girdham who played for CD's 20 or so years ago? Presumably hes Roger's son?

Hails from kimba, don't think he's Roger's son.
But i wouldn't know his old man's name.

Girdham would be a real asset if that rumours true.
He's an in & under player who finds plenty of the ball & loves the goals.
Not to many little blokes like him around who can kick 3-4 goals week in week out.
Maybe Wait is playing for Imps if Girdhams going there?

Tyson Wait is still training with the Magpies (saw photos of him training earlier this week on a Port website), but who knows if he'll finish up there again.

I'll put my money on him going to Imps.
Regardless he's still training at Port.

You could be right, no doubt they'll offer him a heap of $$'s given that he played last year and so wouldn't be worth any points.
