Bluebaggers vs. Warriors

Postby Rik E Boy » Fri Jan 25, 2008 11:03 am

WA 1/32. My mate Rogers out to Bollinger for 16. Not too sure why the Warriors would leave out Shaun Marsh who belted the bejesus out of us in the Franger Cup match midweek!

Warriors on top. Davis on 47, Langer on 48. WA 1/118 and a long day ahead for Blueboys it seems.

Langer out for 52. WA 2/150 with Davis 63 not out. Bollinger has both wickets for the Blues. This year we've seen an Aussie going Bolly but are we going to one day see Bolly go Aussie??

WA have just lost their third wicket. Davis LBW Bollinger 116. WA 3/278 with Voges 80 not out, Bolly a lone hand for the Blues with 3/58 and Donuts for the rest. Voges and Davis put on 153 runs for the third wicket. You can sense the Shield just slipping away here for NSW.

When are we going to realise that Beau Casson just isn't up to the task? :(

What a turn around by the Bluebaggers! REB was almost flushing the season down the drain earlier in the match but they have fought back and will keep the pressure on those Vics. I really do not want them to win the Shield.

You bloody Beauty. At 3 for 278 it didn't look good for the Bluebaggers. A brilliant effort with the ball from Douggy Bollinger with ten wickets and the year of the Kat continued with yet another fine innings.

The Blues have been very impressive this season in the longer form of the game with so many youngsters playing for the state. Remember we have to cover Pup, Jaques, Lee and Clark most weeks and have more problems with the loss of form of Ed Cowan who has had a shocker of a year.

Step up Hughes, the Smiths, Douggie, cripes even Casson got four wickets. In the future look to Henriques and Cameron. There is still some experience with Haddin, Mail, Nicholson, Bracken and of course the mighty Kat.

The Vics have lost no one so you'd have to plump for them as favourites. A home final is imperative for the Blues if they are to jump ahead of the Bushrangers in the queue. Go you might BLUEBOYS.
