Yeah I was, however I would have kept Lee on for a couple more he was bowling superbly and at about 152km/h very unlucky not to have picked up 2 wickets

What the hell has happened to our fielding? It is terrible now, so many costly dropped catches... why do they persist with Clarke in the slips? He is crap there, might as well have S Clark instead.

great day at the cricket again today.....absolute magic sitting out back watching the kids run around having a quite beer...then mosing out tot eh fron to watch a bit...then heading out back again....

Great way to spend a weekend.

Sh!t load of Territorians down from Alice and Darwin who I've played cricket with and against thank ggodness the test was on teh long-weekend, it has been really well supported...

Highlight of the day, spying two of the Glenelg Stats team - scoring the days play in the Adelaide Lutheran scorebook...

Rumour has it one of them stayed up to 1:30 am Saturday morning transcribing the entire days play into the Adelaide Lutheran Scorebook off the CricInfo ball by ball commentary.....

Ecky, Maysie can one of you confirm!!!!????
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

12 off the last over

Symonds now 30*

Three very expensive celebrations they will find. Weslo lived up to their nickname (Wereslo) for the first guy - he could have kept going to the other side of the ground and onwards if not for some somersaults.

I rate this spot at the Oval the best for the afternoon session - right behind the bowler, under the Moreton Bay Figs, and fairly close to the action on the hill. ;)

The ABC commentary is hilarious at times - "I would pay to see Ishant Sharmas' Adam's Apple up against Ian Redpaths' Adam's Apple"; "Not that you pay to see anything Kerry"; "No, but I'd pay to see that duel". :)

lol, hilarious, i enjoy listening to the ABC commentary rather than channel 9. I would have to say channel 9 is the worst commentary going around, the only good commentator is Richie Benaud. I also enjoy the commentators on Fox Sports.

PUP ! Could have had them 2/2!

Is it worth finding another gully and putting Hussey into the slips with Hayden and Ponting.Clarke has to get out of there.

One of the many reasons Australia have been on Top for so long has been their Outstanding Fielding, especially their catching. It's easier to win Tests when catching at about 95% compared to the oppositions 65 - 70%.
Unfortunatley the Aussies catching has slipped Alarmingly in the last 2 - 3 years which has and will continue to cost them Test Wins.

I don't think it has slipped in the last 2-3 years.... well it certainly hasn't made a difference to our winning streak, that ended last week, and how does it cost us test wins when we have only lost 1 test match out of 17 and today will probably be a draw.....

Something does need to be done though. If Clarke had held that last night who knows.. we may have taken another wicket or two.

Still, it has been an extremely boring Test match, the pitch seems far too flat and lifeless. I mean it's the 5th day and the teams are only in their third innings from 4.

India will bat out the day and the Test Match will be drawn. The pitch is dedicated to the batsmen and it gives the bowlers no chance.

Nice pitch wouldnt want to bowl on it. 5th day and the batsmen are still enjoying it.
