Things are ok, we have been requested to play on Anzac Day,which most of the boys are looking forward to. Its the usual story on the track good numbers one night and then drop off the next, then they are back again the next week.
Thats what im talkin aboooouuuut!!!!!!

You are right there hawkseye, but physical threats and abuse will not be tolerate on this site. Banter is fine but when you start making physical threats then that will be considered crossing the line. Anyway as Farbs said back to the football. Havent heard a thing from Lockleys, whats happening down there?

they had a few good kids last year so if they can add a few decent experienced guys to their squad i cant see why they won't make the five this yr. they just lacked a bit of leadership/direction last yr.

i was surprised they didnt make the five last year, all they had to do was beat westminster last game and they were in. found it surprising they didnt after they beat golden grove and hope valley in the space of 3 weeks or somehting like that

Did anyone else have low numbers last night because of the cricket? We only had about 35 out.
Tough session too..

There's a new bloke called Nathan who's been training with us. Not sure of his last name, not sure if he's signed either. I think he might be from Goody Saints? I'm not much help really, am I?

It was Brahma Lodge 1st and then Lockleys, so we went with BL. Not 100% with this one but Lockleys might end up with CLG on Anzac Day.

They are playing for the abandoned VN Commodore on Salisbury Highway   . Don't take offence it was just a cheap shot. But seriously if you play at Brahma fair dinkum it's like playing in a 3rd world country.

I thought the oval was unusualy green and lush for this time of year. In the past when i have played cricket there it has been somewhat of a dustbowl and you are dodging tumblweed. No water restrictions out there?

Well that would fit the mold of and oldish commodore. You say your source is reliable, but still hard to believe that a club would do this for a player. But then again, quite possible as well.

You're right Stan, possible, but if they have given Greeny that they have been ripped off.

Really? I guess you are right. 5k for a player is a decent payment if you look at it that way. But still I believe Greeny is a very good player, I cant really comment as I have never seen him play so its only word of mouth. But I do tend to agree with you andy that is alot for a player.
