Good point WoW, my mail comes from a convo between Jarred and a Bays official where Jarred stated that unless the Bays were going to pay him he was going to Goolwa for money. He then stated it was $150, whether it be true or not (the amount) is only known by those in the dealings. Lets just leave the convo around Jarred as a wait and see thing for now lads.

The only thing I want to say further about Goolwa and please correct me but it seems they have recruited a lot of players at 1,2 and 3 pts each. Could it be that some at Goolwa are seeing the points system as a challenge system as in recruit endless amounts but only plays those who are worthy for a game on form and pts? Basically possibly allowing a few out of form imports to be dropped due to obviously form and points? Or is every recruit somehow a 1pt player OR are you all full of crap and every time a name is dropped you get on here and call him a recruit? that could be embarrassing.... but then again the Bays have Lynch playing a handful. Apprently he wants to play on Portlock.

Cuzzy, you obviously seen Bass up the front of that running group? Prior to having to turn back and search for two players who got lost and were wondering around peoples front yards behind coles! Poor bastards had to do the hill twice because of that!

Would be a welcome change Footymad!

Bassani would have gone back because it got too hard for him, hence why hes only coaching this year instead of playing coach!

Portlock would be doing all his road runs while tucked into the shorts of Thomas and co in the same fashion as a good luck charm I'd imagine.

Well they must be if he has signed somewhere for the big dollars I heard....Not trying to bag the bloke but he is overweight and for the sort of money i have heard you would want a star not a contributor......Just wondering if they have really seen him play or do they just go on hearsay????
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

Have heard a rumour that a very strong GSFL club is currently in discussions with two former sanfl footballers, one who was once on an AFL list. This same player has also played in a SANFL premiership while the other one was unlucky not to have played on the day.

No disrespect to EB, Grape Ape, but it says "very strong". So presumably has to be Willunga, or maybe LC.
