For those interested:

"The pitch is expected to aid the fast bowlers for the first hour before settling down into a good batting track."

Big call by Indians to make Pathan open against Lee
Roger Woodcock -- 602 goals from a forward flank makes you a legend.

Sorry about that Schimma - baggygreen had the names and scores muddled when I first posted. No matter, Pathan is gone now as you said.

23.2 Johnson to Dravid, OUT, caught! Dravid fends at one that pitches around off stump and slants across the right-hander, Dravid fends timidly at it, looking to defend, and the outside edge goes straight to Ponting at second slip for the easiest of catches
R Dravid c Ponting b Johnson 18 (55b 0x4 0x6) SR: 32.72

india 2 for 82

I do know that bringing in alcohol is banned - but as for bringing in an esky containing water or non-alcoholic products I am not sure of...

I took an esky bag last year with lunch and some water in it (god only knows why I continue to take water to the cricket, it just gets left behind (full) at the end of the day so I don't have the extra weight to carry around the pubs afterwards - am intending to do the same this year.

Thanks guys, looks like it's OK to take a soft cooler esky but no alcohol.

Gilchrist for **** sake, what a terrible drop. Our fielding has gone to shit recently, far too many dropped catches. That was a sitter.

Hooray Gilly held that one!

Laxman gone. Superb bowling by Lee, he has been amazing since McGrath's retirement, Brett has really stepped up.
