It's only that he's denied it to me flat out for the past month, so I'll take it with a grain of salt until I hear it from him personally.

Update on the local lads over with Port Maggies.
Luke Harder, Corey Grove, Luke Carey, Jay Shannon, Kieran Hall, Jed Durdin still training with the senior squad.
Dorza, Glen, Ash Lockwood sent back to U19's along with Keasty who only had 1st run this week.
That's 10 names and there would be more from EP as well as Whyalla that I've missed and apologies to them.
Glen and Dorza 1st and 2nd in 3k time trial last night (U19's). Is 11 min 27 sec good ?
Go you EP boys.

Yeah mate the side's been picked ... can't remember who's in it though. I do remember Ash, Struddy, Bozo, Dope, Dylan Coleman, Bowser, Dylan Jenner, Brad Hazelgrove ... that's all I can remember off the top of my head. We've got training up at Wudinna (  ) on Sunday so will find out then. No Casey.

Souths had their first training tonight. good turn out considering the weather. was a entertaining run with the gas leak, explosion or what ever was happening to a house on the highway. a few new faces and some old faces returning.

Luke Shannon signed for Bostons. Will be a welcome addition and we look forward to seeing him in action in the PLFL.

We talking cricket here? EP always struggles to get its best side on the park, and I reckon the SACA country committee need to seriously look at the programming. It's ok for sides like mid-north, Fleurieu etc., where their players go home every night. However, sides like the South-east, EP, Barrier etc. have to make a serious commitment to play in the carnival. How many blokes can afford to have 2 weeks off work and then have to pay their own way while they're playing? Reckon they need to bring it back to a 1 week carnival - Sunday to Friday - with no bye.

Having said that, hopefully we should be competitive ... probably just lacking a bit in the bowling department with no real strike bowler. We've got plenty of blokes who can bat and bowl a bit, just need to play well.
