Yes they were and were told they were not alloud to join in training or something I believe.
I can tell you that both are training twice a week as they get a lift to and from both nights with the coach and other players. O.Love run a 3km TT in 13mins....

Why is that Kappars?
No not the only time trial but is a regualr feature I must admit, 13mins was not the quickest time but a huge improvement for some as it was the first for the year aswell which is always pleasing.

I just heard the same thing Damian did and was just seeing times and so on to compare fitness between some clubs in the GSFL and SFL.
I was told their were some good times at the saints I believe a few people right on the 20 minute mark for a tad over 5k's. Maybe LF can be more accurate with this one.

Look out for the Mighty Saints then I say, clearly going to be the fittest, fastest side come pre-season.

Kappars the top 5 were all in the 20 minute region for the 5k time trial. I was extremely unfortunate not to record a time, just got to training a little bit late!

Which clubs are playing when?

My club is looking to play a trial down your way but cricket is making finding a ground difficult

Question: Which clubs are playing trials and which grounds are hosting cricket on march 15?

LF, Spoke to Popey and Chucky saturday night and he confirmed that the Penola boys were on board. Have they trained yet? Interested to know your thoughts on John Jarred as a paid recruit and someone that you'll be competing with for a rucking spot. I assume Alex will be back??

The Penola boys haven't trained as yet (still in the process of relocating). John Jared i think will get a go early as the no.1 ruckman (trained on Monday, very fit) and I would say that alex (although he hasn't trained) will ruck off the bench. That leaves me in the B's at this stage (hopefully in a forward pocket. Hint Hint Kiesy)

Alex Jones. Massive bloke but has only played footy for a few years so he is still learning bits and pieces

LF, rumour has it Alex jones is very soft? Surely yourself, still on the comeback from injury would be a better ruckman.
