Great game in terms of a tight contest, with Giants running out worthy winners ... Bradshaw and the Giants defense seemed to be the difference in the end.

Since Nostradamus is still crapping himself over those predictions, here is
my early Super Bowl 42 tip,
Patriots 31 Giants 21.

Great game. Manning has played superbly during these playoffs. Farve tried a couple of odd things there :-k

Jimmy, I know it's not the Jets. How's things in the Big Apple? Are they all fired up for the Superbowl? Would be great to be there.

I started following NFL in the late 80s and for about the next 10 years the NFC team always won so I ended up always going for the underdogs being the AFC team and its stuck since then! Even tho the AFC have won 8 of the last 10 (Pats winning 3 of those).

So I am going for the Patriots :D

Interesting to see past Superbowl winning QB Kurt Warner is back in favour and doing a good job at 37 while Brett Favre is proving the New York Jets were right to sign him while Peyton Manning and Carson Palmer are struggling by their lofty standards and Derek Anderson is having a shocker for the Browns after really coming on last year.

Fairly tight season shaping up in the NFL ... Intetresting to note that as we get close to the business end and the playoff/wildcard race heats up, this round has seen the first 9 matches decided by no more than a converted touchdown
