Have been either midrange or down the bottom for the past decade.
Haven't finished above 3rd since 1995.
Looking considerably stronger this year though, not sure how we'll go though....

This is only an estimate - haven't seen too much city footy over the past decade.
I'd say Div 3 to Div 4 standard.

There are some ex league players, but not of the same note you'd find in the Adelaide Hills or Yorke Peninsula where money is more plentiful.

Of the ex-SANFL players Shayne Clonan would be the best known. Please forgive me if I've missed anyone else here.

How many SANFL games did Shayne Clonan play? Played at Strath and then Imperials (RMFL), must have played a few games for South before joining Strath? I know Damian Clonan (who i presume is a brother) played some SANFL, didn't realise Shayne had..

There are several that played SANFL, but I did say 'best known'.
Although, Leigh Kruger would certainly be up there.

Damien 'Clonan' is Shayne's brother but goes by the surname Stevens.

Chris Clonan?? he is a player they should get! especially if he has connections! he dominates in A1 and probably unlucky not to have a medal around his neck already. is a gun and would be worth every dollar spent on him! is a very well respected amateur footballer!

i know this how you may ask?? i have known chris for about 10 years now and have seen him progress from u/17's to now captaining gepps! still very good mates with him too! top bloke!
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

They'd have no chance of getting Chris he bleeds red, blue and white.

Heard today a number of former Waikerie players have left Ramco and are returning to Waikerie for their 100th year.

might be a slight under sell there dw reckon best couple of teams would do ok in Div 2 but Div 3 would be around the mark.

Sounds about right, heard Waikerie had plenty to training Tues night. Apparently they have bolstered their big man department as well with a couple signings, but thats all the info i've got. Like getting blood from a stone down there.

Didn't Walkerville who are div 3 beat all those Riverland teams in the Loxton carnival.

I was up in Berri over the weekend and we caught more callop than carp. This make me an expert on all Riverland matters.

Div 3/4 would be the Standard i'd reckon and Indipendants 5/6/7 imo,but there wouldn't be a better country league in SA which has produced the outstanding talent which the RFL has produced over the past 40 years.....I'll have to check my work roster and get up there for the GF re-match.

Indys definitely Div 7 standard.

Ramco are really going to struggle. Had heard that story about the players returning for the Waikerie 100th. Not helping matters is that Ramco don't have a coach yet, not when I last heard anyway.
