My beloved warriors Eleven goals down at half time in the 1986 1st semi final against port, and come back and win by 7 points, one of the greatest SANFL games ever, Nothin beats that! maybe the 2006 GF

This one was at Oval Ave. The win at Alberton was in '78 I think

Was it really 11 goals??

Enjoyed a great game of footy that day ... Felt weird sitting there cheering Woodville on after they'd knocked us out the previous week

I have many but I just keep coming back to this.

It was 2002 and it was Grand Final day !!!

It was a young man by the name of Martin Mattner who took the ball and carried it down the members wing - no one could catch him as he bounced the pill several times and let loose from outside 50 and kicked the goal !!!

That was the single most part in history that I actually rememeber that my Blue Baggers were gonna win the premiership in 2002 !!!
It is what it is !!!

Schimma....I was at that game when Dillon kicked that goal, I remember saying to my mate that Dillon would need ten shots at goal to score the winner from there. ... that was a long trip home that night....

In the 88 G/F a kick from David Brown turning at right angles in the goal square, resulting in a goal, and in the same match James West missing from the edge of the goalsquare, 2 crucial pieces of play that helped contribute to Port winning their first flag in 7 years :D

As a child, I saw Ron Kneebone's first game for Norwood.

He came on in the backline and picked up the ball to clear it. Big Mick Clingly for Torrens lined him up, clearly intending to "take him out". RK ran through him, kicked the ball to a forward, then went back, helped up his larger opponent, and dusted him off.

Bit deluded there I think WWT. We were 6 goals down at 1/4 time after Port kicked with the wind, but got back to be 1-2 goals down at half time. Importantly stayed with them in third against the wind, then just had enough to sneak over the line.

Who can blame woody for getting a bit excited?

Biggest margin at any break was six goals at quarter-time.

Port............ 9.2 (56)
Woodville... 3.2 (20)

Warriors came from nowhere in the second-quarter to be within a goal at half-time before running out 7 point winners...

As has been said, Hodges run down of Spher in 94 was fantastic. His goal in 96 Prelim was just as good.

Scottys 6th goal in the 90 GF was a fantastic piece of team play. Started with Rizonico winning the ball in defence, shot out a handball to phillips who handballed to Abernathy who kicked to Hutton on the members wing. He handballed quickly to Stephen Williams who slotted a 50 metre pass to Scotty on the lead which landed magically between to players. Great mark. Banged it home from 45.

This year Justin Perkins had a magical 8 bounce run starting from defence and banged home a goal from 40 against Norwood which sealed the game. Had the whole crowd jumping up and down going nuts.

Have 2:

-Tim Perkins' goal in the 91 GF, taking 4 or 5 bounces and then thumping a big goal with the wind. This happened after Modra took a big mark for West, played on and kicked it out on the full. 2 goal turn-around, I knew then the premiership was our's.

-Darren Jarman's 5 goals in the 2nd quarter in the 1990 1st Semi against South.
