Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Tell us the full story we dont know what the f##k you are talking about.
Vladge in the old days counted his runs while he was batting and was never wrong and I know that because I played with him.

The major point is that the most basic thing you learn in sport is to respect the umpires decision, and Vladge acts like he is above doing that.

For example, in this same game, there were 30-or-so leg side wides that probably shouldn't have been called wide. The bowlers who had their figures blemished because of these calls didn't complain, they accepted the umpires decision, and got on with the job, as they should.

Vladge is above that. Surely after playing for 44 years you juniors should respect his opinion. The youth of today

Playing B's two years ago I clearly kicked a goal. It was close, but clearly snuck in. Everyone else went to their positions for the centre bounce but Vladge chose to remonstrate with the goal umpire and then called me a cheat. It was only B's and I was past playing for sheep stations (then!!) and would have admitted to him I got lucky if the call was incorrect. He has a history.......
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

Souths flogged us. We batted first and got bowled out for 108 i think.
Apart from Tyson Dodd everyone must've held their bats upside down.
Two ripper catched in the outfield to one of your b grade opening bowlers.

did the splits coming out of the barriers. Seems Cardiac in B3 was going off just before the start and set off BP and EJ who were either side of him. Was 10l behind the second last horse at the 400 and finished 6th beaten 4 lengths. Huge run but no chocolates..

That reminds of a couple of PL Cup meetings ago when I punted on all 8 local trifectas (4 horses in each race) which cost me $192. Out of the 8 I got 5 up and received a total return of $181 for a loss of $11. Talk about a let down. I'll probably never get 5 out of the one meeting ever again, but I spose at that rate I couldn't give 2 squirts.

Hey Grub was Blue Penny and Upurdate punted on track ?
