Martin Leslie is about 90% sure he will now be able to return mid February and he WILL be coaching Bostons in 2008. Personal reasons for return to Adelaide have been sorted......Great news for the club with more to follow......

Why call him?

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

I reckon hols were better than working HS. Oh well I get some more in Feb for Country Carnival.
Sorry can't fill anybody in on Franklin to MR as I know nuthin. Dylan Dunn is returning to Lincoln after a few years with port Maggies. and I would have thought a monty to return to Souths.
Young Dorza on the sidelines with a foot problem after falling off a skim board being towed by a car on the beach. Not the best of starts for him in Adelaide but problem not as serious as first thought and shouldn't be too long before he's into the training. Glen's off to big smoke on Saturday. That leaves just me and mum and I hate dishes

I'm very prepared to cop flak for s##ting on a teammate by saying his actions on saturday were disgraceful, and hopefully he isn't selected again.

The demons missed out on Franklin, he is playing for Cowell as they go for 3 in a row. What a pity

Vladge has no right to do what he did.
It's bad enough that he sees fit to attempt to umpire from behind the stumps when keeping, then in front of the stumps when batting, then to come off the field and correct the scorers at drinks and innings breaks, but on saturday he and the square leg umpire had words about a particular call (or lack of a call), which halted the game and achieved nothing, except making our side look like sore losers.
PM me for the post-match comment of the millenium, btw, it's probably not right to post publicly, but gold nonetheless.

The umpires simply didnt know the rules, does he have a right to question that? YES.

No, he doesn't.
You follow the rules, you don't question them.
Otherwise you are a bad sport.

Think of it in football, it would be like a player kicking a behind, then remonstrating with the umpire until the score was changed to a goal. That wouldn't be considered acceptable, so why should it in cricket?
