Talked to a mate who went last night and he said despite it being a great crowd the atmosphere was zero, could anyone else confirm that?

Correct, was like a Crows home game - very little noise except for booing the ref.

SJABC - agree, yellow for Cornthwaite. Especially when considering how other decisions went during the night.

CP - sorry I missed you mate. I had to get running though to catch the train - although the debaculous train ride that followed suggested I should've stayed in town. Then I could've caught up with you and Punky.

As for the atmosphere, it was great. But it wasn't a real soccer atmosphere like you get at HS. Great advertisement for the game.

apparently the crowd @ Adelaide Oval was actually 33,000, but due to them not planning for that many and therefore not having certain things in place they are forced to say it was officially only 25,000.
