so who were the blokes and if he was getting about $250 as you say no wonder he is considering offers from YP as they pay there top players around the $500 - $750 mark. Could he be swayed by more money????????????

There's a reason people get paid that much to go there, it's a massive **** to go there and back every week. Plus there's the extra money spent travelling.

Oh turn it up!!! Adrian Wilson is not going to leave Centrals where is was playing quite well for $250 a game in div 3. I have known the bloke for a long time and he is a top bloke but there is no way he would play for $250 A GAME. He's not an idiot and you would be insulting the intelligence of everyone on here to expect them to believe that.

I understand you want to protect ur club from rumours about paying big money and that's fair enough however let's not be silly about.

250 a game tax free to my way of thinking is pretty good money
a lot better than 50 playing seconds
hey dont get me wrong i didnt say 250, i said half of a amount that was rumoured on here would be close to the mark
perhaps you dont know him as well as you think

I guess there is no point going over old ground but thats just not right.

The problem with forums like this is that most people are on here to protect their clubs interest and diffuse rumours about their club. That can be a good thing if they are shedding light on false rumours but in this case I think it has worked to the opposite effect. Sorry.

Wouldn't $250-$300 a game be getting pretty close to the most anyone would be getting paid in the amateur league?

It's no secret Kilburn is spending money this year. I am not saying all the rumours are true about spending 70K don't get me wrong but you guys have recruited heavily and have now landed wilson who is ex afl listed, still young and just played a good season of league footy.

That would be about the mark for higher paid in div 3 however not the case here.

I don't think anyone would begrudge him getting paid a lot of money as he has obviously worked hard to play at the level he has. I'm just always sceptical whenever large amounts of money are quoted. If there are players getting that much in div 3 I'd say a lot of them would be a waste of money.

I've been away for the last three weeks so haven't heard what's going on but I was told before we left we were starting training in January. It'll be good to finally get out there as it seems we'll have an opportunity to do well if we put in the work.

With a lot of new guys hopefully there's a lot of piss up bonding sessions and if the rumours about all the coin are true I'll be pestering them all to buy me a few beers.

i am surprised rolfe stayed but i guess he must have got an upgrade of the car given to him last year. i heard there was a few nervous people out old iggies way last year when he drove of with the car and wasn't seen or heard of for 5 weeks. The most important player out at old iggies would have t be tyson, is he staying?? got a great leap.
