well kicking this one off by fading the Slingers, they have been to Adelaide>Singapore>Cairns>Gold Coast> all in the last 6 days playng 4 games and face 2 rested home teams who are much better than the teams that have already betwen them this week....Im positive Ill get at least one of these to at least break even, hoping for 2!

Melbourne have got their mojo back and been playing tougher teams than Brisbane of late so should be hardened for tonights big game even though its on the road, its also their forst road trip for a while so I like that angle, this should be real close, Ill take the points

Townsville consistenly put up big numbers at home of late and as long as Wollongong play thier part this should go over, this line is a bit short IMO

Cheers, Dutchy - was just glad to get on when I did. This one came into $2.70 at the jump - that is a pretty hefty plunge by my reckoning!

For what its worth, I have a nagging feeling about Cairns tonight against Melbourne, in a reasonably scoring encounter:

Cairns (+8.5)/Over 191.5 $4.00

I expected $3.40 on this, so will parlay some of the winnings into this one...I know Cairns may normally be a little suspect on the road, but their form this year is pretty reasonable. We'll see!

I should have done the same - lost 98-89. Ah well, that's the punt. Took a three game "highest scoring player" multi though, with Lampley last night (won with 27 points) into Young (Townsville) and Rychart (Bris) tonight at $74.60 per unit - see if that builds a bank (given each game has only a four player "pool" to choose from, the highest scorer in the game isn't necessarily the winner of the "pool")

alright have regrouped after a shocking weekend, missed the NYE games....onto tonight a small play on the under for the Melb/Blaze game, both are highly defensive outfits...this should go under, but only a 1 unit play

One of my biggest plays for the season in the Perth/Singapore game tonight, Perth hit the road for the first time since Dec 8 after a narrow loss against the Tigers on Sat, I love a team that is hitting the road for the first time for a while, this angle usually works well as the team looks forward to getting away together as a group, add to this the Slingers upset Perth in SInagapore earlier in the season so revenge is a great angle here also...also Singapore havent played since Dec 22 and have been sitting at home over the Christmas break relaxing and a great opportunity for Perth to be more focused here and catch them early....

i got bent over on the tigers game.. i had blaze by +12.5 and some nobody who never gets court time for the tigers shot a 3 on the buzzer instead of running the game out......dam it!
