for once andy 24 was right 2006 was the centenaryu year and a grand final appearance. should have been a flag but for saafl stuff up with programme. 2005 they were under pump to stay up i think you will find.
not sure you're right about uni losing the 2006 GF because of the stuff up with the program. Uni were pretty confident about winning the GF, especially it being their centenary year, but they were completely outplayed in the GF and beaten by a much better side.
having won the 2nd semi then waiting 3 weeks while all other finals were played would not be the perfect preparation for any side. by the way i am not a uni fan but felt they were given the raw end of the deal in 2006

Yes, he did leave SMOSH to go to Seaton for money, but it was only to get some extra spending money for his overseas trip.
Of course he was never going to stay at Seaton long term, all his friends are at SMOSH, including the guy he went overseas with. He did play juniors at Seaton but like myself, moved to West Lakes after we realised that we weren't housing trust ferals.
SMOSH are happy to have him back, especially in the good shape he is in now. He is a gun forward and on his day takes great pack marks. Something that SMOSH lacked a bit this year.

Who do you think you are pal?
Housing trust ferals you ain't hey?
As for your mate Fraser,he's as bigger joke.
You call him a gun fwd?I don't think so,the games i saw him play f/fwd,he needed a runner.
The coach persisted in him,but then had no choice than 2 play him down back,2 get some confidence.
I thought he looked better down back, than fwd in a few games, but overall he is OVER RATED!
As for what he did 2 Seaton,i definately don't RATE HIM!

Bit of mail out of Townies- Mate went down to training tonight- claims he saw Golding walking laps, and Steven Hann back on the track- surely that can't be good for the future! Seemed to be good numbers on track- also Dion Hibberd a surprise trainer??

look I agree it would not have been the best preparation but if they had the choice of 3 weeks off or to come from the elimination final I would say they would pick the 3 weeks off.
Anyway as I already mentioned I doubt whether they would have beaten Goodwood if they had 1, 2, 3 or even 4 weeks rest.

He is not the only person who has done it to seaton. Its happened a few times. But Not everyone wanted fraser to come back to smosh. He has to prove a lot to a few at the club. And so far he has done well. But it is only before xmas still so lets not judge him untill games start.

Falcon Chick, just a quick question. Is there a bloke training with the Falcons that goes by the name of Donny Richardson?

I think Smosh shouldnt be welcoming back young fraser with open hands.
The word i am getting from a reliable source is that his return has lead to a few
senior players remaining at the club. Apparently good mates of his.
Is this the truth schimma??????? can you fill us in???????

i would say the Fraser thing is all over. He is not playing at Seaton but back at Smosh. Give him a go like i said before. Judge him with his results on the field. He has a point to prove and lets hope he can do it.

I was just pointing out that i have heard that a majority of the boys out at smosh have welcomed
the bloke back. From what i have heard he is well liked and alot of his close mates are there.
Even if his performances arent up to scratch at the end of the day he is playing with his mates and thats what amatuer thats right Amatuer football is all about isnt it.

Robbie played junior football and was an important player in U17's at Smosh, then went on to Seniors. He played very well and had alot of good mates there.

He has been training hard and doesn't have that extra weight on him as some people have said on this site.

Robbie knows that it is hard to do what he has done but he also knows as we do, that when he can turn it on he is a good footballer that any side would love to have.

It would be good if we could wait till the season has started and see what he has to offer then.

Smosh has alot of boys that have played alot of games together. And many of the boys are happy to see him back.

Can you blame him for wanting to play footy with his mates.
