Yeah, Loxton and Waikerie look like being around the mark again. Obviously well run clubs, which is helped by a low turn over of players, and good junior development. Berri always seem to have a high turn over of players, and given that the league has introduced the points system one wonders how they can recruit to match the likes of Waikerie and Loxton and still be under their points allocation. I believe that if Roo pulls on a Waikerie jumper he will only be worth one point!

One point!?! That's a joke. If a player of that quality is only worth one, yet an Independent player is 2 then the system is stuffed.

If the Roo plays for Waikerie next year he will be no points as he played all his U13s there, so Waikerie get him for nothing.

Unlucky mate. Nothing wrong with the ol reverse sweep.

Dunno eh. I don't play cricket anymore. Gave it up for tennis.
Very bad move...haven't won a set yet!
Can't play cricket because of my back.
Renmark Turf doesn't seem real keen on the concept.

Yeah, i really don't understand why.
Any cricketer would enjoy playing the game for the sake of playing it.
despite playing for a cash prize and not actual points or whatever, teams took the games seriously when they were out on the park.
Was a good competition, i would recommend it to anyone.
Great fun, social, and competitive.

Yeah I saw a bit of the Lyrup v Renmark North game on Saturday arvo.
The Lyrup boys were definitely taking it seriously. Saw some bloody big sixes hit too.

They won the team sixes competition.
I think we pushed them with nine or ten.
Still, we walked away with two cartons.
so was a good weekend overall.
Pretty tired and sore now tho.
gotta get fit after new years.
That's my resolution.
