Sounds like the recipe that could equal a few flags to me. Its got me stuffed how such a successful side still plays on one of the worst surfaces in the league, home ground advantage is a big thing at Willunga I would imagine.

Why wouldn't he sign the $$$ that are on offer to him can you see anyone else putting in a bid? This is of course presuming $$$ is what he is chasing.

Footyfollower Daniel Colman from memory did not do a lot during the year! Having said this he did kick 4 against us at Goolwa in Round 11 I think it was. Probably only had 4 kicks but I think thats his style. FM could tell you more!

Kappars the ovals not a bad surface, jus the clever towns folk that decided where to place the oval were drunk due to the 3 pubs in town and didnt realise they were on the side of the hill!

I reckon we have dropped as many if not more at home in the last 4 seasons. 3 lost at home this season and 1 away in minor round. It would be pretty close i reckon its 7 games in 4 years, 4 at home and 3 away. So travelling worse at home, interesting after going through that as i thought we were better at home than that.

The Willunga Machine has the wood over us! Goolwa last won against Willunga in 1996 at Goolwa. and for the statisticians amongst us, I would like for someone to point out the last time we won at Willunga. It would be a long time ago if at all! Would be good to see some more GSFL stats available!

Gee Skinner you cant spell either, poor old Micky is in the same boat went to 3 English classes then wag the rest ended up kicking the footy for rest of his schooling,(can lift heavy boxes though) suppose FM would've went to all of his plus more.Maybe thats why he unfortunatetly cant kick, cant mark ,cant coach. Cmon FM i'm sure theres a TAFE course you can take to learn more about the game we all know.

spoke with john jarrad on the weekend, reckons hes off to goolwa in the new year as the bays wont offer him anything! hardly a suprise they wont offer him anything with his track record. From all reports he was a very good b grade player when he wasnt pissed still from the night before!

What is happening at the bay with players like pete zwar heard he is off to play with the box hill hawks in vic! He would have to be the worst recruit of the decade at the bay wouldnt he? given he used to play at port adelaide did he even get a kick in the A grade in 07.

Saw the victor boys running on sun, all 5 of them hope we get more numbers out than that this year.

John Jared more than welcome at the Saints. We are light on in the ruck department and we might be able to change his ways beacuse although he's not the greatest player he has got a bit of mongrel in him. He'll give a contest!. If its money he is after though I highly doubt he'll get it at the Saints!

Hey LF John Jared would want to step his game up a few notches if your to play him in the A's. Would I be correct in thinking that at the Saints he would be a 2 point player or possibly a 3? Is the rule in your league that if your registered at a GSFL club the play for another GSFL club your a 3 point player?

Jarred would be a 3pt player for the Saints as officially he comes to them from the SFL, that ofcourse is if the rumour is true.

Pete Zwar did struggle by all accounts, he is one of the first to admit it and is now living Melb for work and yes has a few mates that are playing with Box Hill.

Kappars I am not the coach but he would have to do something out of the ordinary to be picked in Round 1. Remember that he could barely make Christies' A's last year and I think they finished 9th, but if a bloke wants to come and have a go he's more than welcome.

SM i heard over the weekend that Chris Jurek wont be going to the bays he is playing out at South and if he does not make the league side he will settle for reserves and continue to push for league selection.

kappars did you mean FM?
If so that's excellent news for Chris, to be honest from what I know the Bays have not spoken to him formerly other than a short phone conversation some time ago. At this stage in his career his best option is to concentrate on his South duties and get the most out of that, same goes for another lad by the name of Mark Obeshak.
