Here's a couple I've been involved in:
2-dayer - opposition batted first - 0/312. We got bowled out for 32 and 65 the next week.
1-dayer - opposition made 62. We were 0/39, bowled out for 61. And they only had 9 fielders.

2004 when i was in QLD i played a game of school cricket, the game should have been in total 80 overs but only lasted 12.4(or 12.5) with a total of 22 runs made 10 for the losers and 12 for the winners, but being a school day we started again and got through 61 overs in the second game.

I agree surely they allow second innings for games like that. What is the point in rocking up?

similar story here, i played for elizabeth in the PDCA against salisbury north in grade 5, however their whole team won the div 1 comp the year before while player as bolivar, they batted all day and made 5 for 350 then bowled us out the next week for 33 and 44 before tea, i top scored in the first innings with 15, batting at #7.

ask me about the game i played in against big rudi mandamaker... another horror story. :D

TS i will ask u about the time u played against big rudi i used to play with him at coromandel cc and man could the bloke hit a ball remember him smashing a 100 in about 12 overs and appoligising to the bowler after about the 10th over every time he hit him 4 six top bloke to play cricket with as well ...
dont think this would be a record but last year in the hills uriadlia i think it was playing bridgewater and the first week was called of for heat out so the second week was a 40 over a side game with 2 day rules and uris were nearly beaten outright in 80 overs of cricket i think uris finished 6 down in there 2nd innings and still behind by a few runs !

In a recent North Eastern Junior Cricket Assn Under 13 game Gepps Cross won outright V Hope Valley over 2 days. Outright wins a very rare in this comp. Valleys lost 20 wickets, Gepps lost 3. HV 67 & 83, Gepps 3/91 & 0/78. (5 of the Gepps team are only 9 or 10 years old).
However a couple of weeks earlier Modbury U/13's won a 1-dayer V Gepps in about 2 hours. Modbury 99 V Gepps 37.

Back in the Junior Under 16 days we played a side from Goolwa and sent them into bat.
5.3 Overs all out for 4 and there were 2 byes, I think it was there number 9 or 10 that hit the other 2. This was a one day game so we batted for about 20 overs, made about 160 and then had them 9/41.

Yes, Rudi is a good bloke. When he played for central districs cricket club they went into bat first, he opened and had 100 in 9.5 overs, we got him out in the 15th over for 165. I remember the captain throwing the ball to my mate, and he threw it back at him. It must of had something to do with getting 3 sixes hit off him the previous over. The next bloke in was a bloke who used to play footy for centrals in the 70s named John "spog" Wyley and the week before this game he hit 202 N.O. Luckily for us he must have been tired from that knock because he charged the bowler and got stumped first ball. Big Rudi could hit a mean long ball but he was a hopeless fielder, he dropped me twice in the same over on the mid wicket fence. They ended up 5 for 300 odd and we were all out for 129.

Not something to be proud of, I guess, but a few years ago the Gepps X Under 15's made the G/Final against either Modbury or TTG, I think, and the Gepps bowlers got flogged on day one, with the opposition scoring over 300. Day two of the GF happened to coincide with a pre-season footy trial match so the boys did their best to lose the match in time to play footy. I think they scored about 60. (They went through the footy season unbeaten, though, and won THAT premiership).

Mylor v Stirling A/2s this season.

Stirling dismissed for 30. Mylor passed the total in 3.2 overs.

Was a two-innings game though, so not a short game, but a pretty quick result...
