Any news on Tanunda, I have only heard that Martin Ballie has left due to work, Craig Tayler
has quit the Eagles and I think the plan was he would return to Tanunda, Other wise fairly quite in Blockville

Chris Gerhardy back to Nuri.

There was a question re Prowsy coaching Kapunda and if Nuri tried to keep him - hes actually been working as an assistant to Leal at Kapunda for a while, and also coached in his own right at a young age before he moved to Barossa.

any word on barossa districts. Heard Mt lofty and Henley could be after some ex Eagles (sanfl) players.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Thanks for that TimmiesChin. Gers is obviously sick of being runner-up, something he is not used to.

Can anyone tell me where Matthew Wilson played when he was in the Barossa League a couple of years ago? I think he only played a handful of games. I believe it was either, Angaston, Tanunda or Nuri. Since then he hasn't played. Any details would be great.

Are Nuri going to be any better this year TimmiesChin?

I'm not as closely tied to Nuri as I used to be but I'd be suprised if they are much better in the short term. At least another year required before Lee is finished there (theres a few other changes I'd make off field also). Every time I see them they just look so small and no longer play with any system - so frankly they are back to an also ran bottom half of the table type club.

Disappointing, considering where they were.
Still makes you wonder why they didn't give someone like Prausey a go in the coaching dept there, or at least try to hang onto him, knowing he had been there in their good years and new the style and game play required to be successful, instead of him having to go to other clubs.
Is Gers shifting back to possibly take on a coaching role in the future. Would be a hard task master.

I don't know why Prouse wasn't considered although to be fair Lee has been there for a couple years, so its not like they have brought someone in and not considered him. I fear however that the clubs admin have got a bit starstruck with names again - and possibly ignored substance.

Having played footy with Gers I think he would make a very good coach (and would be able to keep the players onside and interested), however I guess his employment may impact on that.

I have a feeling you and I may have played together, What I was trying to say is that he was a very hard worker and those that he may eventually coach will no doubt be expected to step up to his standard as well.

I went through juniors with Gers, so if you played with him theres a fair chance we have played together.

Yep I agree with you - think he would make a belter of a coach if his work allows him to.
