i grew up with a macshotta, dad was ingrained at BMFC pretty well. thought perhaps the son had come back

That would be Justin Maschotta crushy. Played a bit at Sturt a while back (reserves I think), Originaly came from Tea Tree Gully before Modbury. Joe was his old man. Don't know much about Cotter, but played with Scott Fraser, handy footballer.

It certainly is....

Mark was a particularly damaging player for BMFC in the B grade 2nd semi final this year.
Looked like he could still easily step up to A grade.
