Allrounder for hire

Postby mal » Wed Jan 24, 2007 6:42 pm

Today BAYMAN MT79 and MAL had a net session at the Adelaide
Lutheran nets in the city.

I was most impressed by MT79 when bowling to him and facing him.
A right hand leg spinner with a terific wrong un
An elegant sweet timing left hand batsman with a good front foot technique.

I am rarely wrong identifying talent
He is in his mid twenties and would be a very handy allrounder for anyone interested.
He dosent play cricket but can play.

BAYMAN and MAL are too old too slow and too fat, but not MT79.

i thought the KENNEL FOREMAN showed a bit of promise in the nets, even though i carted him down the ground as well.

Up north there's the mighty Salisbury West tigers. No pay, but if you have a good game you might get your $5 ball fees back.

Cheers Heater!

Mal just maybe you and i are going to have to get together and play in some sort of testamonial game.

OR maybe all of us past CHAMPIONS here on SAfooty will have to organize some sort of game between us all on a free Saturday/Sunday. Mind you i do realize it will take us a few months to get over the soreness and injuries we cop. BUT boy wouldnt the get together and the stories be well worth it.
P.S. Is there enough beer in Adelaide to cater for such a get together!!
