Who are the six sides in the race? Also Hutchinson has already got 250 and you bay boy don't think he will get another 50 for the season.

Batting Hutchinson (Sth RD)
Bowling Hopkins (WYC)
GF Between ICC and Sth RD atm
Hewett Medal Hopkins

What does everyone else think.

Hutchinson youv'e got to be kidding don't u

Even though Krutli (southrd) is missing 3 games he will beat Hutchinson

Does this mean that Krutli will have started with South Rd, then go to Noarlunga for 3 games and finish the season with South Rd??? Not sure how this would work or is allowed under transfer rules.

Still think it's a 6 team race.

What grade is big Damien Allen playing for the Ramblers? Good bloke and he has said he is playing out there.

Amateur Footy wrote:Big call to say South Road were set for top 4 after coming up from section 2. Massive difference. I think there are 6 sides in section 1 that look a realistic chance to make top 4 (very early call mind you) - Western Youth, ICC Sharks, Keswick, North Haven, South Road and Coro Ramblers. Western Youth always the toughest to beat for me.

There is who I thought would be the 6 top teams, but Keswick have been disappointing and not looking great this round either. Still think they will finish above Plympton and any others tho.

Both the seniors and the 21s got up today, seniors doing it easy and the young lads making the runs in the last few overs.

very quiet on the ASCA front, Sth RD looking the goods being undefeated and beating last years premiers in ICC, thankfully Morphys held out western youth for the the outright to keep every thing tight in section 1. Very good good comp this year. South Rd is 1 game closer to a loss though, they were undefeated last year amd a loss is just around the corner IMO. Still a very good side though

Yes it is the old Magarey he got some runs against us after being bowled off a No ball 2nd ball. You would like to think Sth Rd are a game closer to a loss but they are obviously a very good side having beaten 3 of last years finalists and are showing that they belong in Section 1. Morphys just held us out for the outright but they are certainly missing the Thomas boys on the batting front. Good to see north haven doing well but it certainly seems this year that the comp is very even.

Yep Magarey still playing unbelievably for a 57yr old, super nice bloke too. Should have been caught early against the ramblers on the weekend along with the rest of the batsmen, but best to move on from that.

Playing South Rd this week...will be a good test to come back after a terrible loss.

It will be a big test for the ramblers against Sth Rd they are a quality side even without a few star batsmen. The mighty WYC has mitchell pk this week so it will be a good test against there bowling line-up which is more than capable of rolling sides for bugger all. I wonder whether keswick can get out of there slump.

Just looking through quickly this Quirke character has scored 600 runs @ 150.0. Thats is a joke surely the lad must be getting bored or just getting a massive head/ego.

Go up and test yourself up higher as you are clearly killing this grade.

South Road 205, Ramblers 0/45

Well Sth Rd do have the most technically correct batting technique of any side I've played, but a massive turnaround in the bowling and fielding by the ramblers gave ourselves a chance. Should be a solid win to ramblers with only 160 runs to chase. Sth Rd vulnerable scoring under 250 I reckon, as there bowling line up leaves a little to be desired.
