Fantastic volume of work.
Thought I'd share some of the albums in it with you guys, any reflections I might have and then let you guys tell some stories of your love or whatever of the album.
Here goes:

Elvis Presley - Elvis Presley.
The iconic cover shows who Elvis was when he started, and what he was going to achieve. It's a passionate performance photo. Some (LL in particular) will recognise the cover work as some which was replicated at a much later stage.
Recorded on Sun Records label the collection was pieced together from several piecey sessions.
Leading off is Carl Perkins' Blue Suede Shoes (the writing of which also incidentally and indirectly involved Johnny Cash).
And then follows with more covers, including Ray Charles jitterbug treat I Got A Woman and Little Richard's Tutti Frutti.
Of course the old standard Blue Moon gets a run.
It's also worth noting that the album's best known track is Heartbreak Hotel, but was only ever released on reissues, and doesn't actually feature on the original.
