What has brought on this sudden change in heart?
From wanting to line someone up to suddenly just being a good game in the lead up to the season???? :?

I cant reply for The Lethal 1 but maybe it has somthing to do with not causing a conflict between St Pauls and Cobby resulting in a blood bath or a cancellation of the pre-season game.

The Cobby trip has only been around for the last 2years but is somthing that I look forward to and brings the team together, plus the night life is good and abit of mischeif at the Berri nightclub brings the boys closer as a team.

Plus im hoping to see a repeat of Erines 50+ possesions

I cant see why the game will not be held, we at Cobby see this game to be a good hit out before our season. A very good relaitionship between both clubs have started and Cobby would like this to continue but be careful around comments about taking out No 23 or bloodbaths could sway this relationship as the game is only a stepping stone to both our seasons

Lads I can confirm that the pre-season game between St Pauls and Cobby will not be going ahead next year.

While it is a very enjoyable weekend and a lot of fun we feel it's not going to better us as a side for the coming season. Only getting about 20 blokes up there (half a's and b's) and playing in the heat and 6 quarters doesn't really benefit us. Has got nothing to do with Horse playing up there let me set that straight as well before rumours start flying again.

We're gonna concentrate on playing all our pre season games locally and possibly against higher grades with i think Hope Valley already booked in for March.

you are joking right that really really sucks

Under 18's is going good so far think we have bout 40 odd names down already on the list.
They've been training for the past 2 weeks and will join the seniors for pre season on Dec.4th.
I'll announce the coach in due course.

Speaking to someone on the weekend and apparently 17 clearances to Paralowie have been put through already, very interesting must be some big $$$ being thrown around.

What's the latest with the clubrooms Dutchy, Hendo or Boxhead? Have heard they can't get a builder, this true?

Wouldnt say Big $, Hendo would be highest paid player, Large coke and pie :D

And with the clubrooms, i think we gotta resubmit the tender or something to that effect.

No big dollars getting thrown around. Just a bunch of mates going back there and the coach bringing a few as well Club looking at putting in a C Grade as well. I think Boxhead is skipper of that. Will ask 2m night about clubrooms Riddler. There will be even more clearences as well.Any where on the amatuer website where u can view the clearences?

How can a team that struggled to fill two sides last year expect to fill a third side?

I didn't think any clearances could be processed before the 15th of January. How many will still be around then?

Boxhead will you complete a training session before the season starts?

The C Grade is not gonna be pursued until we find out what numbers we have after christmas.

Ive actually completed a couple of sessions buddy, but as my knee is quite dodgy from all the years of meat pies and beer abuse, ive torn the cartlidge in it. Which is a shame coz the couple of sessions ive completed, ive enjoyed them.
