BTW - is there any other Olympic sport in which pre-qualifying rounds get this much attention?

I mean in all sports across the world.

Swimming wouldn't get a huge look in in other parts of the world. Basketball might be the closest to soccer, but a long way off.

Jones cant get a run with Boro, Juric is on,ly a third stringer at 96. M Petkovic would do OK but at 31 time is not on his side if Schwarz goes on which applies to his brother also. Ante is in the same catagory as would Bolton.
Adam Federici would be a chance as he is young but just need game time for Reading...Only problem for Federici is the C & I are the wrong way round
