Super Super Win.

Great knocks by Elliot and Boof. Hondo is spot on, Elliot has his knockers but he has been super in this form of the game.

What a super person Darren Lehmann is. A great knock, a great player and a very fitting way to finish.

The term superstar is used to often but in this case it is warranted.

Darren Lehmann you are a SUPERSTAR!

I'm glad I recorded that innings. Towards the end of the innings, I think the WA team thought that the only way they would get out is through a mis-timed shot. While there were a few; Boof and Elliott just did not really look like getting out.
Lehmann played like he normally does - that casual approach - and his innovation against Hogg got him complaining to the umpire for his batting outside leg stump, then stepping into the ball. Hogg should know there's nothing wrong with that. They were outclassed by effortless batting, and it was a pleasure to watch.

Yeah it is Daniel Christian. Didn't get a contract with NSW this year. Apparently he's been assured a gig in the Franger Cup match against WA on Wed. Big call from the selectors!

So that's where Christian got to! How can we not give the guy a contract when our batting sucks?? He can...and should play for the Redbacks. Man, we keep Lambert and Forrest and get rid of Christian! WTF?? :?

ELLIOTT nearly the worst ever P/CUP batsman to play for SA ?
ELLIOTT nearly the best O/DAY batsman to play for SA ?
LEHMANN top 5 p/cup batsman to play for SA ?
LEHMANN the best o/day batsman to play for SA [ NO ? MARK]

With 38 runs to go BOOF yelled something out to the dressing room
Was it
" Danny boy take the pads off ya not getting a hit !!! "

The highlight was the way he smassssssssshed arguably the best o/d spinner in the world.
He batted 2 feet outside leg stump at times and gave Hoggy a hiding.

When Hoggy goes up to Boof he should say "BOOF thanks for the lesson."

I'd say Lehmann fairly comfortably SA's best ever one day batsman.

Others who've done well would be Nobes, Bishop and maybe Siddons.

But as far as this game is concerned, although its a great result, its a sobering thought to think the 2 batsmen who led us to the win are both over 35 :( and 1 wont ever represent the team again :(

Awesome display by the Redbacks tonight, was speaking to a couple of mates at the game on the phone - I was extremely jealous, would have been amazing for any SA cricket fan to be there to witness DS Lehmann tonight. Unfortunately I live in Port Lincoln!

Good display by Elliot, and I will say it again - I hope his Franger form continues over into the Pura Cup.
