I would guess he would be staying, unless you know something phantom? do you know for sure about butcher, or are you just making stuff up.

My pleasure LR, Good on you... 6 of the best postings going around i bet... At that point in time my mail was that Ben had all but signed with PHOS, i was also not the only one claiming this, which tells me there must have been some truth to it... Looks like my mail on this occaision was not quite correct or Ben perhaps changed his mind, however with the amount of good oil i come up with one sooner or later is going to bite me on the proverbial... The facts in this case are Ben has accepted the kitchen sink along with some appliances (if you know what i mean), check that one out and prove me wrong... Going to have to side with the Dutchman for the first time in a while here, in this case the cheque book has been dusted off well and truly, which is of some cause for concern amongst the die hard clubmen...

Next bit of oil for you all... Leg Rope appears a stubby or 2 short of a six pack... Looking forward to your next valuable posting, whenever that may be... Play on...

Wasn't that misleading champ. It took a lot of badgering and chatting to the money man to get Moore there. Believe me it wasn't Moorey's first choice but the final offer after many previous offers was way too good to refuse for a metro club.

Just curious. How does Reynella go with Teac shelling out these appliances to players. Does this go under the infamous salary cap of the SFL? Does Teac's head office actually know whats been spent? I know these under the table deals can't really be monitored or controlled but I'm sure the SFL can investigate to some degree. Makes the points system that other leagues are using look really good. At the very least the points system would even up a very lopsided SFL competition.

Good club men would be happy to have an ex junior return to their club........ YES it may cost a bit, but I'm sure there was some loyalty from Moore. Maybe Mexican should mix more water with the beers they are always referring to drinking.

Should good club men be expected to give up a round of match payments to get a player to their club. I don't think so. Some of the old faithful have been getting shafted for some years now and still have no premiership medal to show for it. Maybe 08 will be different, who knows. Hope Moorey doesn't get injured more so for his sake.

As someone who is more inclined to sit back and watch leg rope I'm sure you've noticed that the Mexican's sources are usually pretty reliable. However he seems to have got it wrong on this one.

I'm sure Reynella would be stoked to have a player of Moore's quality at the club but as I'm sure everyone on here is aware big name signings dont guarantee success. Be interesting to see whether the signing of Moore offsets the loss of Sitters, Smitheram and by the sounds of it Butcher.

What is the Logs movements for 08....will he brought back 4 times throughout the year to ensure the B's make it 3 in a row?

Not sure what the wisecrack about beer is, but if drinking beer wins premierships maybe Reynella should cancel their current sponsorship and jump on board with West End.

If you call Moore's decision to come back to Reynella "loyalty", then what do you call bribes? I'm sure his wage at the flys will pay for the electricity bill to run all of his new appliances...

My source tells me Butcher maybe staying on at Reynella... not confirmed though. Interesting if he does when you think about the money side of things because Milo is certainly not sticking around for love. Three players... big coin. What do the rest get? Hungry Jacks vouchers and a Coke?

Interesting comment. Why do you think Morphett Vale have won 4 in a row. They haven't shelled out huge coin for big name players. Ok Moorey is an ex junior and some may well say a local but this is not the case. Money talks and all clubs shell out to an extent. But this is now extreme and if Reynella do fall at the final hurdle again if indeed they get there it may cause damage that will take many years to recover from. Spending up big doesn't always win you a flag.

Not only do I hope Reynella recruit well, I hope all clubs recruit well and better the competition. clubs need these extra players to match it with the red and black. dont get carried away with the appliance and money talk guys, your acting like it would be thousands and thousands of dollars worth.... no way.

clubs paying players is not a new thing
