Tim Nicholas has committed to Norwood in '08. Will be out playing HFL in '09 but it won't be at Hahndorf.

I posted that about Sutherland a couple of weeks ago, but was shot down by Ted Bullpit. Even if it isn't true, a lot of people have heard the same story.

Latest I've heard is Travis White to Broadview. Gordon has signed with Athelstone and I believe another two other big name players may be following suit.

Does anyone at Lofty know if Floreani is playing on in '08? heard a lot of rumours that he may be playing elsewhere.

I saw Sutherland on the weekend and he tells me he is staying at Uraidla and he doesn't know how or where this Broadview rumour started. Also saw Travis White on the weekend and he has signed with Athelstone. Sounds like they are cashed up.

guys
I wouldn't go saying that sutherland has signed at broadview, as since this talk has been happening, I have heard that sutherland is still at Uri's and broadview have another coach. I have heard from a mate who has a mate at braodview. Can't remember his name for the life of me.
Unless anyone can pull some hard evidence, I am thiking this is all a bit of banter for the pre-season sa footy forum chat.

Mop Up, the latest that I have heard is that Trav White and Ben Gordon are gone- Athlestone. Michael Artis, Ross Wait (Ben Gordon, gone anyway) and Adam Trigger-sinski are all havin a crack at Westies with Nathan Grainger. So much for there being no Mt Lofty players whom rated Grainger hey DA? I beleive Wood is the only recruit to be completely committed to playing for the devs next year. Will be an interesting year for lofty is the three lads training at Westies stay out there, good opportunity for the lads from the super's and colts to step up I reckon.

Even with those players leaving i still believe mt lofty will be very strong! most of the B grade would be playing A grade at other clubs and the other player who have grown up at the club and played during the lean years have all improved dramatically and will be keen to step up

Flash and trav white are arguably the two best forward line players in the league. Joel Brown was probably more consistent than those 2 players but when it comes to making an impact in the big finals gordon and white are who you would want in your side. Huge losses for lofty but possibly at an ideal time to provide opportunities for others that are now ready to step up. To counter the players leaving Brad Burch, Matt Stapleton(the equal of any half back flanker in the league), Scott Wood to be added to the team that played in the gf.

Correct - both massive losses. I hope they both dominate like they did in the HFL.

I understood it was Racer rather than Rosco moving to West, but stnad to be corrected.

I shouldn't have said there were none as there were bound to be a few. However, these boys will have all been promised League no doubt, so don't be surprised to see them back in the candy stripes if they don't selected in the 1's.

I hope they get a crack at league and play well as they are all gun players. I doubt anyone from Mt Lofty would begrudge them a crack at playing SANFL - I certainly don't. Haven't heard if Burchy will be back, but it would be great to see him return.

You might want to check your sources Hahndorf signed Tim Nicholas and Tate Kaesler I believe it wasto be announced last night at AGM, This goes with the Cooper signing all before end of November they maybe the big improvers this year.

Tim Nicholas is a huge signing, will be the best ruckman in the HFL without a doubt, rated by many Norwood supporters as one of the best ruckman in the SANFL, was a chance at one stage to be playing with birdwood, Hahndorf will be tough to beat next year with all those imports!!
