Port have got the Hawks, Cats, Crows, Dogs and Suns in their next 5. Real tough stretch

Really they should be 5-0 after the start they have been given

Makes no sense.

I’m saying you started with a very easy draw where you should be 5-0 realistically, so the harder draw was inevitable

I'm saying the draw was irrelevant when we don't have the cattle.

That’s what happens when you put all your eggs in the JHF and Lukoios basket.

I was bewildered that there wasn’t an uproar when the team had no selections in last year draft. I keep hearing but we got mid season draft players but it’s not the same. None of them have really come on.

We'd do the JHF trade again any day of the week, Houston we sold high and while I'm not sold on Lukosius he was an SA lad coming home, neither Adelaide or Port are ignoring those requests.

If you're going to question anything question our development.

In 2022 we took McCallum, Scully and Kyle Marshall. All delisted.

In 2023 we took Anastasopoulos, Charleson and Lorenz. One still there but hasn't played AFL.

In 2024 we took Berry, Moraes and Whitlock.

We haven't neglected the draft, we haven't developed the ones we took and we're gearing up for two big draft hauls with top end talent coming in.

If you understand the strategy you don't have any issue with not taking anyone in 2025.

Or the recruitment team selecting poorly.

Carr has been there for seasons, he is just as responsible as Hinkley and Co in their development

Haha, take your rose colored glasses off

Last year, Liddy (ordinary) Ramm (untested but not sure he’ll make it) and MacKinlay (how he gets picked is staggering)

Luko is a modern day Jack Watts.

Great skills, has the odd game where he's genuinely elite, but on the whole, generally meh for someone taken so high and with so much hype.

You're arguing we should be 5-0 based on the draw and the draw alone.

We're arguing why we know we're not.

I understand what you are saying.

You were a team that most had in the top 10, the calling for Ken’s head and him going had given people hope.

I personally think by using your quality picks on those two was an incorrect move

Did Korn say last night they signed him for 6 years at $950k a season?
He’s not even a B grader yet

He would have been on big coin at the Gold Coast when they were trying to get all the 2018 & 2019 draftees to stay, so they may have inherited that contract.

At least that's what I'd be saying if I were Jamie Cripps

That's the issue when you have to spend 95% of your cap, though, some players will get paid overs.

That's very short sighted though, you need to consider 3 drafts before and 3 after the event ( the very reason we're lobbying so hard against draft changes ).

Have no issues grabbing one of those and using multiple picks, two in close succession I think was a stretch

I mean with Tassie compromising the draft for a couple of seasons, now isn’t the time to bottom out.

Your NGA and F/S look very promising if you have enough picks

Your thoughts on the mid season picks Booney?
