Yeah, my ex found a framed photo in a drawer of the ex wife & I, she went boonta about it and asked what would I do if the roles were reversed?

It's kinda weird nowadays, I generally only agree to dates on a school night.

Sunday: Woo hoo, I'm going out Wednesday.
Monday: Two nights to go.
Tuesday: One more sleep.
Wednesday: Oh shit, I hope she cancels.

Had two lined up last Monday, one chick was deadset boring so I cancelled about an hour beforehand, the other I moved out to this arvo, regretting it now though.

What are we looking at him SA footy.net version of Perfect match :D :D

Whilst her indoors can drive me up the wall I don't envy for one bit those of you on the dating scene at this age, in this age.

Think of how the women must feel

Despite me preferring to have still been in a steady relationship it does have it's element of fun about it, it's a bit of a lucky dip meeting up with potentials, it's relatively simple for me as I have more female friends than male friends and I'm not really fussed if I meet the right person or not, we still have an enjoyable evening.

I have a few humurous stories already in my adventures and I'm sure there will be more to come. Had a chick couple of weeks ago complaining to me about how men use old photos of themselves as profile pics to snag the first date, after about a week of chatting I ubered to catch up with her and upon arrival I noticed that the 7.5 had become a 4 tops, she looked nothing like her pics. I was more spewing that I wasted $32 on an uber and still had to get one to go home when I knew I wouldn't be hanging around for more than 2 beers.

How many beers would you have needed to get her back to a 7.5?

There needs to be a sliding scale of some sort.

That's what I was scared of, nice enough chick but her hypocritical whinge was enough of a red flag.

I don't know this Dexter, but he sounds like he's a middle aged single white male who doesn't really like society all that much but is forced to engage with them so uses it as an opportunity to run experiments on them without them knowing.

Agree, I’ve always said if something happened I’d never bother trying to find another again.

Oddly, my wife has been extremely happy the past year.

It's easy to say, I get a bit too loose at times and know within myself if I had a strong minded partner then I would rein it in a bit.

It's weird, I'd rather be the reacher in a relationship opposed to being the settler.

[quote="Lightning McQueen"] That dating as you get older is like trying to find the least damaged items from the secondhand store.

I had a very similar experience recently,
looked great on the outside & then when the clothes came off.................................
I suppose an analogy is this,

you know when you want chocolate & you get some that's all wrapped up still & looks nice & pretty but when you unwrap it, it looks like it's been sitting on the dashboard for a few weeks & then put into a fridge to firm it up.
