That's 2-0 for Zimbabwe against Australia in the T20 World Cup now.

Wow, that’s disturbing, I would have thought that we’re on the better side of the ratio against every other nation

Then this will make for some grim reading.

At T20 World Cups (only 50 matches total for us, so small sample sizes for most opponents) we're on the wrong side of the ledger against India, NZ, and Zimbabwe, and all square with Afghanistan, England and the Windies.

In all T20Is, we're on the wrong side of the ledger against India (comfortably, W12 L22) and Pakistan, and all square with Afghanistan, England, and Zimbabwe.

At ODI World Cups, we're square with the Windies (W5 L5) and have a winning record against everyone else.

In all ODI matches, the South Africans have a winning record against us but it's close (W51 L55 and some ties as well). We're on the better side of the ratio against all other opponents.

We have a winning test record against all opponents.

Next I should do this for the Redbacks...

How do we pick Inglis over someone who is absolutely glowing with form and has a good short game record.
How does Dwarshuis get a game?

Assume you're talking about Carey? Inglis has a better T20 record and a substantially better T20I record than Carey.

Dwarshius gets a game because he's left arm (probably the best left arm pace option currently) and been a consistently high wicket taker in the BBL for the last three seasons.

As much as I value your input and knowledge of all things cricket, I cannot bring myself to accept that Inglis was a better option than Carey.

Maybe I’m too harsh on Dwarshuis but I’ve never really rated him, he can produce a good spell but has a tendency to bowl too many balls right in the slot, he seems very hittable too often, mind you, the conditions don’t really suit him.

Carey definitely the better wicket keeper and longer form/all round batter no doubt.

Not the worst option Armie but would he suit the conditions there? And I don't think the bowling is the problem, losing four wickets in the powerplay isn't going to help win ay team many games. As noted alot on here Green has struggled for runs this summer, Maxwell and Connolly had poor BBL's, David's (and now possibly Stoinis) injury timing isn't ideal amd Marsh being out hurts heaps aswell.

The conditions are not ideal but he is a wicket taker which is something I think the side lacks, apart from Zampa who are the real wicket takers, I consider Ellis (yes I know the first game) Stoinis Maxwell Green as "containers"... Dwarhuis being selected I can't understand so he is a left-armer so what..... without Starc around there isn't anyone that can blast through a top order...especially with his pace against the Associates. I base this all on feel and not any stats.

You are right though this batting lineup is a broken femur compared to the bowling broken toenail

I don't watch the BBL cos it's a nonsense.

This proves it.

If we were serious about the T20 world cup, we'd produce pitches that gave something to the bowlers, not flat decks that are just designed for the batsman.

Once you go from BBL to the World Cup, you're going to get found out because of the different batting condtiions.

We have brought this on ourselves. No one else to blame than the money hungry organisations in Australia.
