Yep I've enjoyed their daily's along with Ed and Corbin's on the ABC Cricket Pod and The Grade Cricketer guys aswell of course.

It will be another good week (well five days) on the socials, how f**king sweet is it that the Aussies are 3-0 up!! :)

There's some great cricket podcasts going around. My favourite is The Final Word with Geoff Lemon and Adam Collins.

Agree with all those. The overlap - Stick to Cricket with Michael Vaughn and Tuffers is good on Fox Cricket.

Looking at the changes and it looks pretty simple to me which means it won’t be.
I think they will go Smith for Inglis.
Usman gets a farewell tour
Green to drop to 6 or 7
Rocchiccioli for Lyon
Neser for Cummins if he has a spell

Weatherald
Head
Marnus
Smith
Usman
Green
Carey
Neser
Starc
Rocchiccioli
Boland

I did hear it mentioned that Richardson has been training with the team and the plans were to have him ready for Boxing Day but I hope we aren’t that foolish

I agree. Even more reason to punish them 5-0.

I've seen lots of cricket series in Australia before this one, but none where I can remember that the opposition were so bullish yet so ordinary. I'm so keen to see us go 5-0 nil and in as quick a time as possible just to rub salt into the wound.

I'd go Head then Weathers.

Isn't it funny how much of a difference the XI looks without Cummins?

Read this one which I thought was good:

Of the 50 men to play for England on an Ashes tour this century, 26 have never played for their country again.

Finally, Geoff Boycott comment which I think is fairly representative of former English players and scribes:

"A lot of credit should go to Brendon McCullum and Ben Stokes for what they have done for our cricket but it is obvious that Bazball has run its race"

I'm still trying to work out what Baz has done for English cricket. They did win a test series in NZ for the first time in a while. So that. I guess.

I just read that article. There are some good home truths but there’s also a lot of resentment …

Our players are disrespectful to past great England cricketers and their helpful views. They are wrapped in cotton wool and overpaid. Time to get tougher with them because their way hasn’t won anything in three years.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

While going back to day tests at AO was great give me the day/night tests anyday, unfortunately with the SACA now locking in the Christmas Test it will be Day tests from now on.

Nope, day Tests for me.

2 of the day/night tests have had me searching for a ******* hot chocolate instead of beer at the night session as it was that ******* cold.

Adelaide has proven over a number of years that it deserves top billing in terms of timeslot, opponent and value for money for attendances. 5 days and a result in favour of the good guys.

CA have locked in one D/N per year so wouldn’t surprise me if Adelaide gets 1 every 4 or 5 years.

After having the Perth test and the GABBA d/n test I forgot how hard it can be trying to watch any of the day tests.

For that reason alone, I much prefer to the day/night tests.

Yes, I had to adjust to start on the beers just after 9am but survived. I don't like the advantage that a D/N test can have, great spectacle, great atmosphere and even better when you venture over to Peel or Leigh Street afterwards for a few to kick on with before the cas.

If RB were CEO of Cricket Australia, the Adelaide test would be the New Year's test. The Sydney test could occur at some point in the calendar where it does not rain in Sydney.

With the weather this year it was the perfect time for a Day/Night test.

Previous years has been cold and freezing at night.

Just need bit of luck, but seems we have Day tests coming up except for one year.
