Surely someone in the England camp is thinking twice about this strategy? Or is it a bigger ploy to kill off test cricket. Cos they're going the right way about it.

Cricket Australia, Foxtel and Ch7 would be losing millions if not billions on these 2 and 3 day test matches.

Putting this out in the universe.

Mum, 82, hasn't missed the first day of an Adelaide Test for the best part of 40 years, me for nearly 30 most of them with her and I normally get her tickets arranged for her and off we go. Now, it seems this year well, I did, I cocked up and missed the emails from the Aus Cricket Family about the tickets as my new Outlook has "Focused" and "Other" folders and I missed it. As such we ended up with Day 4 tickets as I didn't log on until 2 days after they went on sale. Had a bit going on.

Anyway, if there's two Day 1 tickets in the Universe looking for an owner I'd hand them to Mum and Step Dad, if there's three I'd chaperone them.

You never never know...!

Regards,

2nd favorite son.

9 reporting Head is likely to open in Brisbane with Webster, Inglis and the surprise inclusion of Mitch Marsh into the squad likely the list who would replace Head at 5.

The Marsh family must have a whole catalogue of pictures.

Mitch hasn't played a first class match since the Melbourne test at the end of last year.

The Perth Stadium pitch, where the first Ashes Test finished inside two days, has officially been rated as 'very good' by the International Cricket Council.

Under the ICC's four-tier rating system, 'very good' is the highest ranking possible, awarded to pitches with "good carry, limited seam movement, and consistent bounce early in the match, allowing for a balanced contest between batters and bowlers".

Hard to really argue - wasn't the pitch that caused 32 poles in 2 days.

good form is good form. im not for it but you cant argue his seeing them like beachballs.
personally i would bring in Webster IF they are going to do it.
otherwise give uzzy a fairwell game at the GABBA and then replace his with Renshaw. keep Head at 5

Yeah, I was extracting the urine.

I'd bring in Renshaw, Cummins and Webster at the expense of Uzi, Lyon and Doggett.
