We can only hope that you don’t apply the same ‘service routine’ of your now departed mower for your cars.

Im pretty much in a no thru road and yes cars get serviced regularly, I didnt see the point on a $200 lawnmower, the thing kept starting so I kept using it

Good! :D

A quick check of the veg patch this morning reveals the first flowers on beans and also on my late planted sugar snap peas.

Had great success over winter /spring with golden pod snow peas and will grow them again next year.

Also noticed that my capsicums are showing signs of coming out of dormancy and this will be, for some of them, their fourth year.

Plan to mulch everything at weeks end to keep the moisture in and the weeds down.

The lawn looks a treat but needs a clip every 4 or 5 days already. One tomato has kicked off, one hasn't, both strawberries and the corn have jumped out the ground.

Same, amount of clippings each weekend is nuts. I have had a bit of oxtail in my lawn, I’ve hit it with Bow and Arrow. Weed dead, lawn grown over in days

Cherry toms and cueys are going boonta, chilli's are moving slowly.

Made a trellis for some cueys to crawl up in the spot where I can never grow anything, I'm slightly winning the battle against the bugs and other vermin that is turning the leaves into swiss cheese. Annoying part is that I'll spray them after watering, put powder around the base of them along with egg shells, it seems to work for a few days and then the rain comes to wash the pesticides away and it's a feeding frenzy again.

I really need to treat the soil somehow.

Munns at Brighton

Expensive for the size but worth every cent I think

500ml was about $65

Cheers, will have to give it a try. I just de-weeded the back lawn by hand. The front lawn is in far worse shape; I reckon I'm gonna need chemical assistance.

Veggies have had a big growth spurt this week.

Lawn has barely grown but is incredibly green. I’m going to smash it again with some fertilizer this weekend before any heat arrives.

Complete swap around from last week.

My lawn is nuts, bright green and thick as all buggery. Mowed it last night and while it wasn't very long, almost completely filled the green bin

I reckon I could sit and watch my tomatoes growing at the moment. Going mad.

Picked my first strawberries last night, had them on my Weetbix this morning. :-BD

Also it is amazing how good that Bow and Arrow is.

Oxtail clover totally gone with only a minimal amount of damage to my lawn in one small area of lawn and I’m talking about a bread plate size.
